Suddenly It Doesn't Work!

I'm a weekend TS2 player and played my game on Friday night and twice yesterday. I downloaded a house off ModtheSims2 and some Momma Lisa clothing from here and then tried to restart my game and it wouldn't work. The application crashes in both TS2 and Body Shop. I have no idea what's going on. I reset my computer to an earlier time in case that might help but it did not. I've deleted the files I downloaded yesterday and that did not work either.

I'm desperate people! Help!

Try removing the files you downloaded.

I've tried that and it still won't work. :(

That is strange does it crash right away or when you try to play a family?

If it's crashing at the splash screen or before the neighborhood screen, it's probably your cache files.

Go to My Documents/EA Games/The Sims 2 and rename the four files there.  Don't monkey with the folders tho!
