I saw a video with the beginning of the game Heavy Rain... OMG !!! Ethan Mars got an amazing house with a modern style. I love it, I'm also looking for modern objects, wall, floor, windows, door similar to these ones. The bed, I'm thinking the Tokyo Bed over at T$R might work. But, the animations are kinda funky. If I come up with a better solution, I'll post it. The kitchen, I've seen one like that before, just can't remember where.....Holey Simoly has a 50's fridge that would work. In fact, they'll probably have quite a bit you might like. Of course, for the donation sets, there's always the booty (http://paysites.mustbedestroyed.org/booty/ts2/4esf/). ;)
In fact, this (http://www.4eversimfantasy.net/bedroom7.htm) bed looks close, and it's free. I would suggest taking a gander through the whole site.
