There are many bodyshop tutorials, both on this site and MTS2.  I've used the tuts from both sites and they are easy to follow.   Some give tips on creating sims others on how to recolor clothing. 

And a few months later a patch to fix what the first patch borked.  And on and on and on.............

The path looks correct.

You would only have to uninstall Freetime.  Make a backup copy of your Sims 2 folder first, or just put it on the desktop before you uninstall/reinstall.  If you don't it will be deleted when you uninstall.

You wouldn't have to uninstall Simpe, but you will want to update it when you install AL.  Also if you use any hacks/mods, make sure you update them.

Simple answer----Securom, clay looking Sims, and the very likely hood free custom content will be limited or not even available.

Thanks Tenshii~Akari.  Should never post on other forums after being on the BBS.  Takes a totally different mindset to survive on the BBS and not get warned or banned.  You have to tread so carefully there, so I tend to err on the side of caution when sending people to sites that others might find objectionable.  That thread is long, guess I forget since I'm up to date on it.

Feisty32, the booty has a forum.  You don't have to be a member to read about how TSR shares personal info, their influence in getting free sites closed, etc.  Just recently they had a hand in getting Reflex Forums closed.  Luckily the site is back now and called the Black Pearl.  Somewhere in the forum is a link to coconuts blog.  Very eye opening.  All of the info on the blog is backed by screenshots.

Actually once you get a few more years under your belt, you'll appreciate Pescado's rule of 12's.  Actions and the way you post tells more about your maturity then any physical age.  Shoot I like being younger then I am.  And to those very young ones, not really a good idea to be broadcasting your age.  Even on a relatively safe site like this.

I think the more you complain about the age thing, the longer it will stay.  We all owe Pescado a lot.  Without him Insimenator would no longer exist.  So a few little quirks can easily be ignored.  We at least have the rest of the site to enjoy.

Two Jeffs Simblender is a very good substitute for the Insimenator.  Plus it is supported.

All mods and hacks need to be removed when installing a new EP and not put back in until the creator either updates or says it's ok to use.

What operating system? Vista alone takes almost 1gb of ram to run.  What is the graphic card?  Do you have dedicated memory on it?  Are you playing with all the ep's and sp's?  I help out on the bbs and the general feeling is that for all ep's you need at least 2 gb's of ram to make game run right.  The cpu is to low for 512 gb ram.  Plus Bon Voyage and Freetime have memory leaks that eat up your resources.  In addition the longer you have played and the bigger your hoods, again more resources.  You also play with a lot of cc(me too) and that takes resources.

EA's minimum requirements to play the game have always been to low and more and more are starting to have crashing problems.

The cache files have bits of info about your cc.  They do get corrupted from time to time.  I try to delete mine every few days.  Always a good idea to delete them if you have removed anything from your downloads folder.

Well the thing to do is cut and paste your download folder to the desktop.  Delete the 2 cache files, and restart your game.  If game runs without crashing, then your problem is a bad cc file/files.  If you think you know which file it is then pull it out put downloads folder back in and start the game.  If no crashing then hurray you found it.  If still crashing have a tedious job ahead of you.

Cut and paste your downloads to desktop. Put just a few back in, start game, play and if no crashing exit and repeat. Keep track of the good files. Keep doing it until crash. then just need to weed out the bad one.
