I know the feeling exactly! I plan on buying a disk reading device of some type in the next few months... (Is buying a desktop completely out of the question? I'm still going with no! I can do it!)

After looking through my own ancient pictures, I found myself wondering what on Earth happened to that one cool site that sold teenage-looking clothes that were so fantastic? Boo.

Meanwhile, it continues to blizzard around here. It's supposed to continue snowing for about 24 more hours still, and then the temperature is supposed to drop down below 0'F and have a wind chill of -45'F! All I can say is that I sincerely hope that my baby waits until closer to its due date to come, and hopefully the weather will be better by then! Not to mention I'd have to drive down almost 2 hours (on a normal day) to pick up my fiance from the airport...

Speaking of my fiance, we still have not heard whether he will be able to take leave or not for the baby's birth! It's now 10 days before he's supposed to head back to America! I just hope they okay it, even if they wait until the last second (although I hope they don't!)

I'm doing a billion loads of laundry and waiting for this venison roast (venison provided by my father, yay for hunting!) to be "medium well" so I can eat it...

Oh! And organizing my NEW photobucket so it can't possibly become un-organized when I start using it more....

And slowly but surely writing baby shower thank-yous, hopefully I'll get them done before the birth announcements need to go out! I never know just what to write...

I'm trying to get my phone to cool down since it's about 2,000 degrees... and also making more recolors of things that I already have too many recolors of and don't need...

Hi! Welcome! I think there are just as many of us running sims2 as running sims3, if not more!

I'm not sure if this is one you've seen, but it looks almost identical... it has some type of shiny-ness on the mouth that might just be a lighting affect, and the screenshot provided is taken in the dark where there is no lighting...

Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be too many others...

Raven I can not thank you enough for making so many baby clothes into non-defaults!

I'm currently making a whole bunch of recolors of bandannas (although they still need to be slapped onto the mesh and put in game), waiting for my fiance to get off work to talk to him, and doing a little bit of research on the hereditary role of OCD- checking for myself, but might come in handy for something I'm working on.

Well after reading that I'm a bit jealous...

I'm also watching the big Detroit Red Wings vs Toronto Maple Leafs game and being lazy because I won't have much longer to be lazy... Baby is due in just a few weeks!

Various simmers have concluded that the issue is caused by an update to the graphics, nVidia for instance. The solutions at this point in time are either uninstall the updates and turn off automatic updating, going back to an older driver, or try turning shadows to medium or low (if they're already on low I'd try turning down some other graphics like lighting or the overall.) That link is good to read if you need any more information, as well.

I just needed an excuse to say that, it's my dad's favorite expression.

If you don't want to use defaults, but you can't use the mod, you can always use the (unsupported) insimenator, or the sim-blender to change your sims into everyday wear after they are pregnant, and they will show up on the sims as long as they have a preg morph... That's an alternative. 

It appears as though these are accessories for sims 3 already, correct? If you link to the originals, it may be easier for someone to convert them for you.
