Can anyone solve this mystery, i've finally got my game workable(ish) but when my sim tries to write a novel I get the dreaded this application has crashed stuff. I thought maybe it was the custom PC I was using, So I tried it with several including the maxis one. Same problem, I tried hackdiff with no luck. Can anyone tell me if it's likey to be a hack and if so does anyone know of one that causes this? All help very much appreciated and happy new year! Title: Re: Write novel crashes game Post by: Simsample on December 29, 2008, 05:13:51 pm The easy way to test is to cut and paste the Documents\ EA Games\ Sims 2 folder to the desktop and then run the game. Get a sim to write a novel. If it works, it's an issue with your userdata- either your hoods or CC.

And some mods that modify the term paper writing can also break the novel writing. Good luck ! |
