If the error just started happening, then it would be in one of your more recent downloads. Do you have a replacement or recolor of the Zen Garden? If not it could be custom object based on it. Look in that area first, and if you don't find the culprit, you'll have to run a binary search.

For whatever reason, I can't read either of those object error files. However, the Error: Attribute number out of range. is commonly found when you have a mod that hasn't been updated for your latest EP. Not being able to read the error file, I can't help you narrow down what mod it might be.
Next time you have the Controller - Apartment Nanny error, hit Delete to destroy the controller. You may need to send the nanny away or delete her. Reschedule the nanny if you need to. I believe this will solve that error.

I remember a mod that gave the ability to enable the woohoo movies each time. It was either an option with ACR or Chris Hatch's Bouquet, but I'm leaning towards ACR. Unfortunately I don't have TS2 loaded on my computer so I can't verify this.

What Raven said is very important. Those memories will bite back hard and destroy your new hood. Besides doing as she said, there's another way using lots. Instructions for Safely Saving sims on Lots shows how you can move all the sims you want to save to one lot put it in a temporary hood, then clean up the memories with either SimPE or using Pescado's FFS Debugger. Since using SimPE to clean up memories is a time consuming process, and mistakes happen, the Debugger option to Remove corrupt memories is the fastest and safest way to fix the sims. No need to modify the sims with CAS then. IMPORTANT: Strangetown and Verona townies and playable sims are bugged right from the start. Go to MATY or MTS and find a replacement version of those hoods that have the fixed sims. These buggy sims are probably what killed your Strangetown.

There are too many sites that download tiny programs in the background to pop up advertisements similar to what you've encountered. Blocking cookies is a good idea. Forcing your system to display a Yes/No popup any time something wants to write to the hard drive is a good thing also.
You probably pick up this little program when you were browsing a site and a pop up, with sirens, whistles or bells, said you computer may be infected, do you want to scan for viruses? It only gives one option, with is to download the program even though is says start scan. Clicking the Close widget is the only safe way out.
If your browser supports AdBlockPlus and NoScript get those two add-ons. The first will block almost all of the ads you see. The second will prohibit a visited site from running any type of script or program unless you say it's okay to run. Add an antivirus program that checks online activity, I prefer Avast , but there are others, and a firewall, Windows has one you need to enable which is okay, ZoneAlarm works good for me.

Since you have AL, you shouldn't have any problem with using a lot that requires all expansions. The AL lot includes all previous expansions lot based code.
Where you will have a problem is if the CC you are getting requires something from the expansions you don't have. Said objects would not appear due to he lack of meshes. There would be no way to check out what you are missing to in order to use a substitute unless the creator lists all CC and source.

Simply renaming game folders to start earlier EPs or Base Game won't work. Install EPs and SPs have entries in the Registry. The game checks the Registry to find the correct start for the installation, and if you try to start the game any other way, pops up the message saying what disk needs to be installed in order to start.
