This is really a complete starter.  I put newly made sims on the test lot.  They were able to survive very nicely with this home and prosper.

I have a template 2X2 lot with the curbside driveway that I made if anyone is interested in that only.

I saw this home requested on the forum.  I loved the lines and have attempted to make it.  The first model was furnished (the pic's were taken of this).   Because the home was so large (24MB compressed), it could not be uploaded furnished.  I have removed the furnishings and most of the lighting (this home is made for chandeliers) and uploaded the architectural structure, fences, stairs, fireplace, plants, macarossi's pond, and trees.

Sorry I had been away and am now just beginning to check my subscribed threads.  I will have to try this when i set my next business up.  That is really strange.  I thought anything in the game could be purchased.

Am I understanding correctly?  You want the customer on a community or home business to be able to buy the whole bookcase as in a piece of furniture?

I have never tried this and am not at home to experiment but I know that you can set prices on many things to put them up for sale.  You may be able to set a price on the bookcase itself.  Worth a try anyway.  Maybe someone else on the forum has had a furniture store where they have done this.

For me the larger the lot and more content on that lot, the slower my computer runs.  I have a new video card an 1 GB of RAM, and plenty of space on my hard drive.  I have less than 2 GB in the download folder.  My processor is only a 2.2GB.  I notice the problem arises more with me if there is a transistion of some type on the larger lots.  Normal play is usually not too slow but usually I will have about eight sims on a large lot.  If I ask them all to do something different at the same time (I micro-manage) the game will slow.
