Did you backup your hood prior to installing the patch? Squinge,it is always a good idea to back up your hoods  as we should all know! But even when I had a backed up hood with the patch installed in the game, you eventually will end up with the same problems!! So I ended up having to do a complete uninstall, reinstall without the AL patch. As stated above. Krystylfalls,So if you backed up your game prior the patch,as Squinge mentioned try it out :happy8: But if all fails ,you will have to do a complete Clean uninstall, Then you run registry mechanic, Then complete reinstall. Then it would be wise to check your downloads as they could be corrupted like mine ended up,mind you they were fine before the AL patch was installed:tongue8: It took me over 20 hrs to sought this problem out,so It is your choice on wich ever way you choose to go. But I know I won't be installing the patch for a while!!

The download organizers and the compressorizers work fine with EP8
I have tested them, and have not come across any problems so far. The new Simpe is great, you don't have to worry there.
But as for the EP8 patch I totally advise you not to install it, as it corrupted my whole game Including my downloads folder, then I had to do a full Clean reinstall of all EP'S and run registry mechanic to clean the registry entries prior to reinstalling.
Just leave all your patches the way they are with the previous EP'S you have,
just don't install EP8'S one yet!
So I don't care if other people say the patch for EP8 is working fine No it's not! so if you want problems I advise you not to install the patch until EAXIS yet again gets it right.:tongue8:
You can ether take my advice or suffer the consequences,(but don't say I didn't warn you,ha ha ha ha.) lol

Simmers' Paradise / Apartment Life Help / Furnichre in Apartment invisible?
|

I built a retirement village Apartment from scratch, all furnishings are in game and basic at that! There were only 4 apartments with there own small bathrooms which contain 1 shower a toilet and a sink, the bedrooms only have a bed side table and a wall TV and a sofa.
The Kitchen is a shared kitchen in common area, and same with the dining area ,then there is a shared computer room, and a gaming room with a bar and pool table and card table also an area like a lounge room.
Anyway my sim was able to access the kitchen and cook all his meals he could also access the buffet table,Mind you he was being charged for all of the food. and at the time it was all visible for me to see, then when the landlord turned up to do maintenance, and there were 3 other sims visible looking at the other apartments, but it only shows my sim residing there, all the furnishings turned invisible, and including the kitchen that the sim can no longer use?
But the funniest thing he can get food from the buffet table,he can see it but i can't? and use the invisible table and go to use the piano that is not visible Etc?
There is also a shared pool that is fine he can go swimming.
The other thing is he wanted to buy a car but i am unable to place it on the driveway,do i have to place cars before sims move into apartments for them to be able to use. Or this is not possible because the landlord owns the property?
And is it not possible for sims to share all facilities? In the common area!
Any tips on this would be greatly appreciated I am so dumbfounded on this one.:dontknow:
I totally don't want to waste my time building apartments that don't have visible furnishings!
here's the snapshots of the invisible dining, Now you see it,now you don't lol :smt120.

Simmers' Paradise / Apartment Life Help / Empty lots won't load?

Were you using the AL version of Scriptorium? If not that was the problem. If so, you should probably post on that thread telling him specifically what happened. From looking at the threads for AGS, BGS, and CEP, he'll want you to do specific things to narrow down the problem. Yes it was the AL Scriptorium, Numenor_379694_Scriptorium_Setup.zip But what happens now as I removed it from my game, and reinstalled Game without the Scriptorium? I have not used that program but am aware of it,AGS, BGS.! And I also had to remove the Lighting GUN MOD Package and revert it back to sims2, as the lighting had dark shadows and same with the sims! But I will go through my backups to see if i still have the game files, if any info is needed from that. This is about all I can do for now!!

Simmers' Paradise / Apartment Life Help / Empty lots won't load?

Did things load properly after removing Scriptorium, or was it the same? Just curious, because if Scriptorium was the problem, Numenor should probably be told. I uninstalled AL and then reinstalled AL,with the Scriptorium still there and it didn't work. So then i decided to do a total uninstall and reinstall of EPs. (AS per last post) without Scriptorium installed and all is working fine. So maybe it might be advisable to inform Numenor with this matter. Could you please do that if that's ok.:happy8: Much appreciated thank you again for your help in this matter.

ancienthighway I removed the scriptorium, and instead did a full clean reinstall of all my EPs and patches (except AL PATCH) and SP and it worked, my empty lots now load.
Thank you so much, for your Support and kindness on working this out for me:worship:
