Title: Strange Problem With My Outfits Post by: erica_jean698 on January 22, 2008, 01:50:48 pm Hello,
I recently completely emptied out my download folder (except for my defaults) and restarted my game. I was simply tired of all the bugs I had from having so many hacks and that. The problem is yesterday I went to download the toddler clothing I had made and posted to this site. I downloaded and placed in my Download folder. I went into bodyshop to play around a bit and they were not there!! So I placed them in my SavedSims folder and reloaded Body Shop and still they are not there! Is there something wrong with the way I originally uploaded them? Is everyone having this problem or is it just me? Over 80 have downloaded them, if there was a problem someone would have said? Other CC I have downloaded works just fine. What can I do to have those outfits show in bodyshop and the game? Hopefully there is something I can do. It is very frustrating placing them in my download folder and not having them show. Please help. The links are in my signature. Thank you. Those recolors are linked to a mesh of mine aren't they? Install the mesh, you prolly have deleted it..... The mesh is located in the Blooms_ToddlerNudeoutfit.rar wich you find here:http://www.insimenator.org/showthread.php?t=66388 (http://www.insimenator.org/showthread.php?t=66388) Its called Blooms_ToddlerNudeoutfit_Mesh ;) Title: Strange Problem With My Outfits Post by: erica_jean698 on January 23, 2008, 12:54:32 pm Oh silly. Oh please do spank me. ;)
However that won't help because I did install the mesh first and still they are not showing. It's very strange. I know I can just retrieve the textures from SimPE if I need to. I just hope no one else is having the same problem. Title: Strange Problem With My Outfits Post by: BlooM on January 23, 2008, 02:56:54 pm ill try one outfit ;)
Edit, Oh boy, they dont show.......unbelieveble nobody reported that......unless they are made with pets bodyshop orso, no clue. The textlists are missing in the files.... Think thats the pets bug , not? With wat EP bodyshop version did you make them? Title: Strange Problem With My Outfits Post by: erica_jean698 on January 23, 2008, 07:08:22 pm Bon Voyage bodyshop is what I used. :( Well this is certainly upsetting.
Is there anything I can use to fix them, or fix my bodyshop? Maybe a patch or something? I was going to make more but it seems silly to do so until I get this fixed. Title: Strange Problem With My Outfits Post by: BlooM on January 24, 2008, 11:24:53 am Try the Seasons bodyshop, or the one from the last EP before BV(H&M?)
I am totally lost wat is cosing this, it looks exactly like the bug that came with Pets. Title: Strange Problem With My Outfits Post by: erica_jean698 on January 24, 2008, 11:46:25 am Too weird. Well live and learn I suppose. I'm just shocked that no one said anything. For heaven sakes I can take it if people are honest.
Now just to double check, I take the package file from the the project folder. Right? That is all I need to do, nothing else? Anyone else can weigh in on this as well. :) Title: Strange Problem With My Outfits Post by: BlooM on January 24, 2008, 12:48:28 pm The package in your project folder is useless, did you upload those?
hehe, you uploaded those didn't you :D (i checked, those dont have the text file....) Oohh, i am sooo gonna spank you!!!!! The ones you want to upload are the ones in your savedsimsfolder ;) But it really suks nobody said anything :( Makes you wonder eh? Now, show me some A$$ :D Title: Strange Problem With My Outfits Post by: erica_jean698 on January 24, 2008, 01:12:25 pm (http://i35.photobucket.com/albums/d162/erica_jean698/miniature-donkey-0015.jpg)
There's a smile A$$ for you. ;) Oh my Lord! Now you tell me! Well lesson learned there. How embarrassing really. I suppose I'll have to remake them! Hopefully I'll be able to pull the textures out of SimPE. Title: Strange Problem With My Outfits Post by: BlooM on January 24, 2008, 02:53:16 pm Nah, happened to alot peeps.
You can extract the textures with simpe, just right click on the image and export as png. Later, when doing a new project you open them again and save them as your bmp file. |
