Title: Regarding Androgyny Body Shape
Post by: yoyoilluser on January 06, 2009, 04:48:22 am
I do apologize for bothering everyone and I hope I'm asking in the correct place...If not...Really sorry about that...Anyway, I'm not so sure on the information regarding the Androgyny Body Shape as I can't seem to find too much about it, but I was wondering...If the bodyshape is placed on a male ((If it can)) does it in fact keep the male anatomically correct? ((as in if you have such downloads from Crammyboy and the like)) or is it the same for women? You see, I'm desperately trying to find a slim, rather boyish shape for adult males ((Rather like the teen look but for adults)) and was hoping the Androgyny shape could do that...If not, really sorry again to bother you...

hmm Thats an excellent thought, I would also love to have a shape like that for my adult males.

hmmmm. Crammy Boy's thingie is a separate "item" from the skins so I think it would show up using the Androgeny skin.

Yeah, I'd very much love to have a slender, more feminate build for some of my male Sims. Sometimes the shoulders and the thickness just get to me for the regular appearence...I hope someone wouldn't mind trying to make such a build for males...

@amc462000: It would? I haven't downloaded the Androgyny Body Shape so I'm not sure if it can even be used on males...It seems to be associated with only females.

Sounds as if Corrine's "Punk Junkie" bodyshape would be perfect for your needs.

But since the Insimenator shake-up and transition, don't know where it may now be found.

Maybe if you ask on the WCIF board:

someone can point you to it.

The Punk Junkie mesh can be found on this very board, right here: http://www.insimenator.org/index.php/board,678.0.html ;)

The androgyny body shape is female-only, men will have the Maxis male shape, I do believe. Custom body meshes don't affect mods like Crammyboy's, you'll be pleased to know; they just change the shape of the sim.

Thank you so much! The Punk Junkie mesh still seems to have shoulders larger then I would of hoped for, but it's a lot better then nothing...Thanks very much for the help though^^

I wish there were more clothes for this body shape...It sadly seems to be lacking...

I know what you mean :-\

Mind you, there is another option: http://www.modthesims2.com/member.php?u=57451 Check out the fat and slim family meshes she has there, that might be more what you're looking for :)

There are a few Punk Junkie items at Garden of Shadows:

and there might be some at Safetypinned as well (not sure about that, but some of Corrine's stuff has gone there):

If you don't mind just having clothing items which might fill the bill (not necessarily geared to punk junkie), check out Tomang's site:
