Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / My Neighbourhood is sinking lol

I'm guessing that Beosboxboy is right; you might be overrunning memory and so that the game is writing some other kind of data into the space where it keeps track of the terrain map. If that's the case, adding more RAM to your computer might fix it.
I'd recommend making a backup copy of that neighborhood before trying anything, and even before starting the game again. (Just select the neighborhood directory, control-c to copy, navigate to somewhere else on your computer, and control-v to paste. Then go make yourself a sandwich while you're waiting. Walk the dog. Balance your checkbook. Trim your toenails. Wash the car. It'll probably be done by then.)
Then, as Taylah suggested, try creating a new neighborhood and look to see if lots are OK in that one. If that works, it might be worth it to try to restore the shape of the terrain in your neighborhood.
Instructions on how to modify the terrain are Around Here Somewhere. (On MTS2, perhaps? Surely someone will know.) I know I've seen them; it involves having a neighborhood with the terrain you want, and then copying its terrain map onto your old neighborhood.

Sims 2 Community Downloads / Junior / Fan Sites Must Be Destroyed!

... At first i was thinking he was being sarcastic... Oops. Yup, I was being sarcastic. Keeping Sims sites and Sims fan artists on line has been one of my major hobbies for the last six years. It all started with hosting folks like Dincer Hepguler, y'see; which I still do. The point is that those who espouse the philosophy that fan artists don't deserve to be compensated are arguing that only the very wealthy should be allowed to create the stuff. It's great if you're rich enough to be a dilettante, but very few Sims artists have that kind of money to burn. In a darker vein, there's not much to say about the attempts of crooks to justify their crimes. I know that dishonest people don't want to face up to their crimes, but that's the reality of it. If you steal, you're a crook. No amount of noise can change that.

Sims 2 Community Downloads / Sim Honeys / Keri Lynne

A strange thing happened with Keri in my game. When she took her clothes off to take a shower, she kept her clothes on! I tried sending her off of Squinge's special diving board and the same thing happened. Using Danny's gizmo from DMA sims to make her get naked, once again she was in her everyday outfit.
Changing her skin tone with Christianlov's toy fixed the problem.
This is the first time I've encountered a sim who is so shy that she takes a shower fully dressed!
Is there something peculiar about her skin tone that I'm overlooking?

how about a stealth bomber w/Benny Hills face dropping a bag o'shite? I was trying for a lightbulb zipping by but I can't get the little emotie's facial expression to convey the thought. Maybe a version of this with a broken bulb: :smt115 Or a variation on this: :smt107 I've always admired the cleverness and talent of those who can create really effective emoties.

Sims 2 Community Downloads / Residential / James Webb House (modern)

Oh wow! Love it!
Is the James Webb that the house is named after the new senator from Virginia, or a different James Webb?
(The name caught my eye because I have a character named Jimmy Webb in my story over on the other site, y'see.)
