How about Sims 2 Pack Clean Installer? It`s very popular and I think it`s great.

If you open your downloads folder in it, you`ll see a list of your downloads. delete all empty packages and duplicates, that highlight in pink. As for the hacks, they`re highlighted in red, but I would`nt delete them all, only those that you are not aware of installing.

If it doesn`t help, move your hacks out of the downloads folder to check if the problem could be caused by a hack conflict.

Did you try to remove the files manually? It hapenned to me once with Uni, which apparently didn`t want to be uninstalled and I just removed all uni folders from my computer and the rest went normal.

Just a reminder: tha game folders are located in 2 places: some in My Documents and some in where you installed the game.

Assuming you don`t have a special folder for new downloads, here`s what you do: open your download folder with Clean Installer, sort by date and move the latest downloads out of that folder.

I don`t know, I had no issues... the one I have lets me choose of enayla`s and louis` skins and it works okay.

Do you by chance have Nightlife EP? They come with it.

Hehe, they are grey-ish and they have red eyes and you can meet them after the sun sets.

Your sim needs to become best friends with a townie vampire, then it allows him to bite your sim and turn him into vampire too.

Or there is such option in the insim, I don`t remember exactly where, but it`s called life state.

For the skintone, you could use christianlov`s skintone changer, which is available at MTS2. Gotta read the thread first though.

As for the eyes - the simpe method that you mentioned or the contacts that you mentioned too would be my bet.

If you open the main Downloads folder (if it has subfolders in) with clean installer, it will show all the duplicate and empty files, no matter if they are in different subfolders or sub-sub folders.

You can view the catalog with the Clean installer and if you know how the house looks like, you`ll identify it by its thumbnail and delete.
