Title: Please Help Post by: jubelbelly on October 05, 2006, 11:52:55 pm I can't seem to find the Faces and Vertices count.
Faces and Vertices I can't seem to fins it in Simpe Title: Please Help Post by: BeosBoxBoy on October 06, 2006, 07:14:50 am jubelbelly - with the .package file for an object or skin mesh open in SimPE
locate the Geometric Data Container (GMDC) - select it in the top right window - in the plug-in view at the bottom you will find the VertexCount and FaceCount. In some instance it may be too complicated or in a format that SimPE's calculator does not understand. But you can usually get the number from the window below the Counts. The file was found here.
http://sims.ambertation.de/ - once on the site go to DOWNLOADS and agree to the EULA then the file is available under Needed Software to run SimPE Title: Please Help Post by: BeosBoxBoy on October 06, 2006, 12:49:14 pm very cool, thank you! I changed the link to just the root URL and added the need to go to the Downlods page and agree to the EULA.
From what I can see - you only need the update to DirectX if you are using Windows XP (no SP), Windows XP SP1, Windows 98, Windows Millennium Edition, or Windows 2000 |
