The Sims 3 / Sims 3 Help / Re: Frustrated to tears..and EA refuses to help anyone!!

Sims 3 seems to be a bit buggy so far. My fiancee runs fine on medium graphics settings, but the game randomly blue screens out. In addition, randomly the screen goes black for a millisecond, and comes back much darker. 30 seconds later, the screen goes black again, and returns at normal brightness. No idea why, and there seems to be no repeatable conditions.
On my PC, on the other hand, I had no problems... until one point where I was teaching a Toddler to walk. As soon as she learned, both her and her father (who was teaching her) became stuck in a talking loop. Neither would get up and move, I tried everything. Out of curiosity, I left the game running at high speeds. They wouldn't even DIE, because they could not be bothered to get up and talk to the Reaper. Mildly frustrating. But that was only once, and I have had no other issues to speak of.
EDIT: I should note that I loaded a save, successfully taught her to walk, and they went about their lives normally this time.

Sims 2 Community Downloads / Custom Sims / Druid Novice Robes (Warcraft Series #2)

As per Simz2luvr22's request, I have made the male starter outfit for Tauren druids. As before, it is simply Blizzard's textures applied to a Sims mesh. In this case, I had a hell of a time finding a decent male robe/dress mesh to use. I ended up using LordDragonstone's C113 Male Dress, which is the MESH YOU NEED TO DOWNLOAD for this to show up in game. I know this sounds weird, but there is a shortage of masculine male dresses. An alpha-editable dress for males would go a long way to making robes and such. Anyway... sidetracked again. Sadly, I could not make this on a Tauren. I think BBB's Satyr mesh would be a good starting point, but there are no clothes for it, much less the one-in-a-million dress-for-men outfits on it. So, it's on a human instead. And a skinny regular one, at that. Oh well. You work with what you are given. Here it is.

Sims 2 Community Downloads / Custom Sims / Black Mageweave Outfit (Warcraft Series #1)

Attention World of Warcraft players! Because you don't see enough elves wandering around your capital city of choice dressed in skimpy black clothes, I present you... the Black Mageweave set! The mesh is just the basic Maxis one, and there's nothing fancy going on here, so it should work for everyone.
The textures are ripped right out of the game, and manipulated to fit on a Sim. I only made the female adult outfit, since that was what was requested of me by a friend. And the male one looks horrible.
However, I enjoyed the really simple process, and was wondering if anyone had any ideas or requests for different WOW outfits translated to Sims? The only stipulation is that I cannot do those shoulders, so that cuts out a good 90% of the cool Warcraft armor sets. But by all means, if you have request for some WOW-clothes converted into Sim-clothes, PM me.
Also, I have uploaded a screenshot of a project I am working on that may appeal to WOW players... more info as it nears completion.
Without further ado...

Sims 2 Community Downloads / Custom Sims / Conan the Barbarian

This is my first upload ever, so let me know if I got anything wrong! Anyway, I searched high and low for a sim of Conan, and could find nary a trace! So I decided to make my own. It required a little clever retexturing of the Fire Dancer outift, made possible for barbarians thanks to Beosboxboy. Since Conan wears a different outfit every few days of his multi-decade long career, his outfit here is a mish-mash of several different outfits, and proper Conan-style flavor. Enjoy! I included two screenshots of Conan in action, in his favorite two ways! Custom content: Eyebrows by Helaene Eyes by Enyala Texture by me! Meshes Needed: Hair by Kavar (Get it here.) Body Mesh by Beosboxboy (Get it here.) His skintone is the HBB default one, by Louis, included with the HBB base mesh.
