1  The Sims 3 / Sims 3 Buzz / Re: Official "Create a Pattern" Tool released on: June 26, 2010, 09:45:29 pm
Do you have to have Ambitions for this to work?

The "Create a Pattern" tool is stand alone program.

Here's a quote from the read me.

Quote
Please note: The Sims 3 Create a Pattern Tool is used in conjunction
with The Sims 3.

The Sims 3 Create a Pattern Tool can be run without an installation of The
Sims 3 on the same computer, but The Sims 3 must already be installed in
order to share patterns created with this tool.

As far as I know, the patterns you make with this tool are generic, so they should work in any version of the game you own.

Not to sure how many people here are playing Sims3 but thought I'd share.   Cheesy

Thanks!  My sims were getting bad backs and dirty knees from diving into the flower beds.  This is a M&G 'must have' mod.  Grin

For Apartment Life:
My sims living in a cramped apartment and they could really use an alternative for buying a telescope that won't fit in their apartment.  It would be nice if an option of "stargaze" or "spy on neighbor" could added that would raise logic and give enthusiasm for science. Having it satisfy the wants would be great. The animation for bird watching would work perfectly for this.

Just an idea. Great to see you back.
5  The Sims 3 / Sims 3 Buzz / what would be your first request for the sims3 if custom content is created? on: August 28, 2008, 04:36:58 pm

Custom hair meshes I suppose. But I'm not getting the game until I know if I can create my own skin tones for it.

Drains the fun out of it for me if I can't.

I can't wait to see what your artistic skills will do to the Sims in Sim3. Heck I even have your face mod for Oblivion and who knows...Fallout 3??

Once again you've made some excellent skins. Thanks!

Here's an interesting mesh suitable for a princess. http://www.modthesims2.com/showthread.php?t=127977

Also there are quite a few meshes made by Sussi and now available at MTS2. Here's one for example
