Title: Game keeps crashing and freezing Post by: n3rin3 on November 21, 2007, 07:31:26 am I seem to be having major issues with my game freezing the whole time. The game freezes everytime a specific sound file is accessed eg. door opens or closes. The game either freezes and resumes again after about a minute or crashes completely. It's becoming very annoying.
I first thought it might have something to do with mods and downloads I had installed but I removed EVERYTHING from my saved games and downloads folder, uninstalled and deleted everything. I then tried a fresh install and played without any modifications. But the game still crashes. There is a text file for error logs in the game files and it keeps referring to a sound file of sorts that's missing but I have reinstalled everything so I cannot understand why it would be gone.
