*leans over to whisper to Warlokk*
Pssst... Don't forget you said you'd think about using the maxis pirate outfit for tzimisc8 using a different bodyshape...
*nudges playfully*

Best part of your Teen bodyshapes is that they are so universal for all your ya/a/e bodyshapes. Very smart of you to have made such good matches for your recent bodyshapes, Warlokk.

I've been wondering if you either have, or have been thinking on making a thread that will give the full mapping from all your bodyshapes to the teen equivalents.

I'd also love to see a naturally slightly bigger male mesh, but without being too muscel-y.

Actually, Marvine & Beosboxboy are the ones that take care of the male bodyshapes, from what I've seen. Warlokk only does the female bodyshapes. Though I do understand that you'd like to see the RenGirl for teen through elder. It'd be nice, but keep in mind that he's put out 4 new bodyshapes in the past couple of months, and the demand for clothing for said bodyshapes more then likely takes a higher priority. Just my observation, though.
49  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / Resolved: Names For Needs Are Missing on: March 27, 2007, 07:52:54 am
Since no one bothered to reply to this thread, please close it out. The problem resolved itself after a couple of reloads of the game (reloads, not re-installs, as in game crashes, start game up right away and notice the problem, shut game off so as not to cause any more problems and try to seek out help, start game up on a hunch). Not sure how/why, but it fixed itself without my having done anything to it.
50  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / Resolved: Names For Needs Are Missing on: March 25, 2007, 02:20:06 am
Just as the thread title says, the names for all of my needs have suddenly vanished. the meters are still there, but they do not have a name next to them, nor does anything pop up when I mouse over them. I just sent my Sim's daughter to college, and things were running just fine. I took her to get some clothes and poke around the campus for a while, and just as she was going to the coffee shop my game crashed. I started it back up again, and she was dropped off at her dorm, so I pick her up there and took her back to her shopping and fun time on the campus to meet some people. I look at the needs tab and though the meters are there their names are not. I've tried closing and opening the tabs, going from one lot to another, and back to the dorm. Nothing. Can anyone offer me some help please? Playing is going to be really confusing for me without the names, and I don't want to have to keep using the maxmotives cheat every time. Any constructive help would be much appreciated. Thank you.

I'm waiting patiently, ok impatiently but I'm here hanging around

Well then... Don't just stand there! Grab some wood and a lotta rope! Things are bouncing too hard in there and it's already starting to give way!

I've got a ton of things bouncing around the Tower right now

*shakes head* That poor poor tower... tsk tsk tsk..... Such a shame, really. I'd grown so fond of watching it block out the sun in the morning and the way it ominously loomed over our village. I could rally up the villagers and see if we can pull our resources together to at least keep it propped up, if you'd like. Though... being the man-eating village idiot not many will listen to me. 53  Retired Creators / Female Bodyshape Variety Project / Which bodyshape to load for beginner? on: March 21, 2007, 01:53:59 pm
This is honestly best going to be answered by Warlokk, himself, since this is his project. But speaking from a user, and not a mesher, if his latest creations had come out first I'd have started using them first and moved on to the rest later on. The Classic Pin-up, Power Girl, Renaissance Girl, and Fashion Model are great meshes and a great way to get used to new bodyshapes as they are all one piece'ers. His original work can get a bit complicated for those that are just starting out. One thing to always pay attention to is to always use the correct skintone His earlier works consist of both full bodyshapes and tops and bottoms as well. So it can get both confusing and frustrating if you don't have all the content you think you'll need, or at least all the sources to download from.

But that's all just my personal opinion/preference, I'll leave it to Warlokk himself to fill you in on what you'd need to know. After all, it's his work. Wink
54  Retired Creators / Female Hi-Res Bodyshape Project / Power Girl Mesh/Skintone conflict problem on: March 20, 2007, 10:03:32 pm
uh... yeah... anyways... Whatever the case is, once I find something doing that I just don't use that accessory with that bodyshape or any clothing associated with it. Sucks, but oh well. A bodyshape takes priority over an accessory. I either look for something else in my selection or try to find something at any of the abundantly free (and non-subscription requiring) and see if they have what I'm looking for. Though I think that you can easily spot what will and what won't work on a bodyshape by making the Sim in the bodyshop and adding on whatever there, save, and if in the thumbnail you see that there's a blue patch then you know there's gonna be a conflict. Just my 2 cents though. And I expect change back.
55  Retired Creators / Female Hi-Res Bodyshape Project / Power Girl Mesh/Skintone conflict problem on: March 20, 2007, 05:51:32 pm
hm... I thought it was just me that this happened to. Only it happened to me with the Classic Pin-Up mesh on the elder. Her earrings are supposed to be these black Victorian beaded deal but they show up as flashing blue 2d squares near her head. though the necklace is fine. I thought it was just because I may have accidentally deleted the mesh for them, but I didn't.

*runs away crying, yelling something that sounds like it's about bad cheese and not enough butter*:crybaby:

I don't have any skills when it comes to this lot. I'm barely able to tolerate making skins for outfits.

Mlacror, are you suggesting a teen version of the CP and PG bodyshapes? If so, I second the motion. It'd be nice to have the teens I make have a similar bodyshape at all times that can be tied to a skintone, and when they grow up they'd be using the Classic Pin-Up or the PowerGirl bodyshapes.

Hey, isn't that from the Urbz?

I think it is. I'll have to drop the disk into my xbox to find out.

Does anyone plan to make any recolors of the frame? Gold is great, but some silver and onyx would be fantastic! I won't even go on about how cool an emerald recolor would look.

Yes, I know this won't sound ver balanced but how bout a 32D or 34D with 32 hips? That's what I am...

I'll probably get in trouble for this, but....

Nice

On a more serious note...

I don't recall seeing a DD or DDD in a 32, but it'd be an interesting combo for a Sim. Maybe save some time and just make more options available for the 32 hip size as a separate instead of making several full outfits? Just a thought.
60  Retired Creators / BodyShape Requests / 34DDE-36 pirate outfit? on: February 24, 2007, 06:43:19 pm
That would actually look fantastic using the Pin-up mesh as well. Though with an enhanced bust shape it'd give the coat an "anti-gravity" look to it since the front part of it would still be flush with the entire body and not just go straight down. Granted, it'd do the same with the pin-up mesh, but at least it wouldn't be as noticeable.
