Title: Sims 2 in Window mode xp Post by: roshimitzu on January 23, 2009, 06:48:01 am Okay...Ive searched around the net and cant find any help.
I want windows mode in windows xp. But it just wont work. With the -w at the end of it. I joined it to my sims2 launcher and the AL start. When I start the launcher with it it doesnt really open but its strangely in my processes. and not applications. :S Im really confused and I do enjoy windows mode an awful lot..If there is any help i would maybe love that to pieces. If not...Oh well. My God I will love you forever Infact i already do!!! Thank you so much!!! I dont know why on earth it worked but it did. I didnt understand at all. Im so clueless but I replaced the launcher thing with the Sims2EP8.exe and it worked!!! I dont know what happened...Its the neighbourhood one I save with all my families...anyway I copied that into the folder...and played and it didnt work... But I recopied it...jsut to be sure and it worked.... Nah, Sims is too time consuming and actually I'm going through a phase where I'm kind of bored of it. I do that sometimes. ...as for your neighborhood problem, you didn't rename the folder or files did you? That'll cause it not to load. I was like NOOOOOO ....then im thinking omg get a life..but then im like uhhh no! It must have been my stupid brain...no renaming...Maybe I didnt replace them correctly but I just re did it and everyone is there which is great..... I extracted a sim using simpe right....then went to open bodyshop and now it keeps crashing....and uhh it shouldnt because i just installed the whole game!!! and i took the extracted sim out and it still isnt working.... from my most recent game too!!!
