Whenever I play on one of my sims' lots, even the pre-made lots, and I run my pointer over a sink, I always get a message saying, "My ownership is 1.", "My ownership is 2.", "My ownership is 3.", etc. I'd click on the 'X' button in the bubbles, and the they'd be gone. The messages don't affect gameplay, but I'm really getting sick of these and would like to get rid of them once and for all. I've got a screenshot of what it looks like right here (Don't mind the fugly sim. I'm just using her lot as an example ).



Will someone tell me how to get rid of these? Any help is appreciated.

I was meaning to post this a while back, but a member of the Seven Lakes High School Spartan Band has passed away.

Matthew Schmitt was a mellophone player in the Spartan Band. He was in a car with five other mellophone players last Friday when they were running late for rehearsal because they had a game that night. Keep in mind, this was the whole mellophone section that was in that car. Anyways, the car was punching it around 80 mph when the car flipped over when making a sharp turn. The other five mellophone players walked away with virtually no injuries, while poor Matthew didn't make it. He was pronounced dead at the scene; he was only fifteen.

Last night was the Spartan Band's first game since this horrible tragedy. Watching from the sidelines, I could tell they were struggling to keep themselves together throughout their half-time performance. They dedicated their performance to him, as well as lying his instrument and uniform in the endzone. I found the performance very moving and, ultimately, ended up sending a few tears Seven Lakes' way (my girlfriend Alexis later confronted me about it, but she thought it was sweet that I did that).

Please keep the Spartan Band and Matthew's family in your thoughts and prayers. I don't go to Seven Lakes and never met Matthew, but I know some people who were friends with him and they would very much appreciate everyone's sympathy. In fact, all of the other bands in the district are wearing orange and blue ribbons (Seven Lakes colors) on their uniforms in honor of Matt whenever they perform at the Katy Marching Festival tomorrow.

And for the record, I did talk with my Seven Lakes friends about setting up a topic like this, and they approved rather quickly. And since this was a teen-related accident, please, please, keep any kind of derogatory comments about the accident/teen driving laws to yourself! I certainly do not want to taint Matthew's memory that way.

OK, so Halloween's right around the corner. A time of costumes, trick-or-treating, pranks, and occassionaly, football. Why football? Well, Mayde Creek has the traditional game against Katy High School, which I seriously doubt we'll win because we're dealing with six-time state champs in high school football. I guess that means I won't be doing anything that afternoon, other than football.

Hello. Will someone help me find this male hair?



I'll be honest, I had this hair before. I still had it even when I copied and transfered all my sims content to my new computer. However, when my game crashed to pieces just two months ago, I lost the hair, as well as the file it was in. I tried getting the file from my old computer, which, apparently, runs slower than a tortoise on tranquilzers, but I couldn't find it anywhere in my old downloads folder. I even tried looking for it in Sims2Wiki, but I can't remember for the life of me where I got the file from or what it's called!

Any kind of info/help on finding this hair will be very much appreciated. Even if you can't find it or if it's gone for good, I'd still like to thank you in advance.

ok, i know that there are about 5000 topics on bodyshop problems, but now i have one. body shop barely loads up, and i get that "application has failed, yada yada yada" message and it goes bye-bye. the last time i used bodyshop was a week ago, and it was fine, now it just does what i just said it does. i tried reorganizing my downloads, checking if i downloaded two default replacements, even tried opening it without CC. and it doesn't even work without CC! it's been like this for three days and i'm really getting sick of it all! i even tried to open the game itself with all the CC i have and it works fine!

i have the double deluxe, university, pets, seasons, and AL and the last time i downloaded was Monday. i looked over those recent downloads about ten times the past three days and they're alright. please help, i'm at the breaking point in which i need to uninstall AL.

uh...correction:
now that game's f***ed up. i tried playing just a few minutes ago, and now it won't go past two squares when loading neighborhoods. what else is there for it screw up!?

since i'm going to get braces pretty soon, maybe when summer vacation starts, i was just wondering, if any of you guys ever had braces, what was it like? i've been hearing all these horror stories about getting braces from my friends (they drill them into your teeth, assistants refuse to numb you, the after-pain is about three times worse than pulled muscles, orthodontist is always in a bad mood and likes taking it out on his/her teenage patients, etc.). to be quite honest, i'm a little scared of what'll happen, especially since i'll have a new orthodontist (the fifth one i've had in three years), and i don't know what to expect. will someone give me an honest answer to what really happens when you get braces?

ok, so i just installed Seasons yesterday. everything turned out fine in the first couple hours. then all of a sudden, whenever i want to play on the Darwin family lot (with just my pal, Lance), the game crashes! the game's fine on the other families/lots (his girlfriend Gretchen lives in the apartment downstairs, and her lot works fine), but not on Lance's! what the heck is going on?! i checked all of the hacks, mods, lots, everything! please tell me.

My name is Lance Darwin. I'm twenty-eight years old and couldn't ask for a better life, even though it wasn't always like this. My parents died in a helicopter crash when I was only two years old. My uncle George and aunt Rose raised me and my brothers since I was three. I still have contact with George and Rose, but I haven't seen my brothers Mike and Harry since I was fourteen. So if they're still alive is beyond me.


I'm in a great relationship with my girlfriend, Gretchen Smith. Like me, she is an artistic soul; she is a painter. We always use the old Chinese philosphy:"There is a poem in every painting, and a painting in every poem". That usually means, I write songs from some of her paintings, and she makes art from listening to the songs I write.


I've known Gretchen since we were in junior high and it wasn't till a few years ago when we really started getting serious. I know that George and Rose are proud of my feelings for Gretchen, but since they also have no contact with my brothers, I think the only thing the want from me is to just marry Gretchen and start a family with her. As strange as this sounds, I'm not really surprised that both George and Rose, as well as Gretchen's parents, wants us to be one. But I'm just not ready for that yet. And neither is Gretchen.



I'm a songwriter. I love my job. My dream is to a rock musician. So far, I haven't gotten any good songs down yet, but I'm still working on it! My uncle George is a real great help with some of my songwriting. He's a retired Navy chief and sure looks like one, but he's really a kind, sensitive soul. In fact, he even sends me some of his poems and tells me that they would make some great song lyrics.


This is one of my friends, Jeremy Turner. He's also one of my great songwriting partners. He also writes some of my lyrics and even makes arrangements of my music for concert and orchestra bands. All three of us, me, George, and Jeremy, are one great songwriting team.

Yeah, life was great until now. I might not have much longer to live.

today while i was in world history, i saw this thing on my teacher's desk and tought it was a electric pencil sharpener. so i get up from my desk and try to sharpen my pencil. i tell the teacher that the sharpener ain't workin, and she says "well duh, it's not working, Ryan! you're sharpening you pencil on my lamp!" i swear, i thought it was a sharpener; the head of the lamp was all the way down!

this is a pretty simple game actually. one poster posts problem that makes them need to see a doctor. and then the next poster posts a cure then another problem

ex:
poster 1: *sees doctor for sore throat*

poster 2: *gives you HALLS cough drops*
             
                    *sees doctor for broken arm*

and so on...

you can use any kind of cure or sickness, just try not to make it real graphic, m'kay?

I'm just about to get some more expansion packs installed into my game, but...... i have downloaded some custom content prior to getting these new expansion packs. the EPs are University and Pets (dont know if that'll help or not).

anyway, i need to know...should i get rid of all of my CC altogether and reinstall all of it when i have both EPs installed, move it all from my downloads folder and into a temporary folder and reinstall it, or just leave all the CC alone? i really need to know because this is my first time installing a new EP with CC because the game i have came with the Nightlife EP already in it (Sims 2 Deluxe).

I need an expert opinion what the exact procedure on what to do. will someone plz help me?
