Title: Objects not showing up even when I "enable" them
Post by: faiithx on February 09, 2009, 03:31:41 pm
All of my custom content that are objects are not showing up since I installed pets and apartment life.

This message comes up just before the neighborhood menu and I tick the enable box but the objects don't show up buy mode.

Anyone know why they aren't showing up? Any help is appreciated :)

Beyond the splash screen Enable, there is one other thing which must be done:

Go to Game Options.

The option there to 'Show Custom Content In Catalog' must also be set to Enable.

Then Quit the game and re-launch.

If that feature in Game Options should already be set to Enable, then set it to Disable and back again to Enable, then Quit and re-launch. That will kickstart things back to normal.

Those files looked like they're copies of the existing files in the Downloads folder, and they MAY cause problems like missing CC or crashes.

You need to get Delphy's Downloads Organizer from MTS2 (http://www.modthesims2.com/download.php?t=227925). Read the information plus installation instructions on the site hosting the product before you use it. This program helps you organize your Downloads folder by checking for duplicate files and removing any if there's duplicates as well as checking to make sure you have the mods you want installed in your Downloads folder.
