1  Sims 2 Community Downloads / Misses / Historical Maternity Project: Victorian on: March 02, 2008, 05:02:30 pm
I play lots of historical inspired neighborhoods, which is the main reason I use inteen. For a while I was just adding pregnant morphs to other custom meshes, but I wanted to be able to share recolors, so I had to make my own.  The first in this project is an early to mid Victorian silhouette.  I've made 6 day dresses and  3 evening dresses.  They were inspired by fashion plates mostly found: here

Hairs in the Pics are by Peggy, Windkepper at TSR, Pronup Sims and Sussi

Although I'm uploading them as teen maternity, they work just fine as regular clothes, even if you don't have inteen installed.

All pregnant sims in the pictures are in their third trimesters.  I'm sorry for the odd picture lighting.  I'm having driver issues that I'm still working out.
Day Dresses

Evening Dresses

A shot of a few on regular nonpregnant teens

Known Issue: The mapping on the bottom of the skirt is messed up; it's what I sacrificed for the shape of the skirt.  You only see this in extreme dance moves and when the sim reclines on a bed.

Remember to grab the mesh!

Comments are welcome and appreciated.  Thanks for looking and enjoy Smiley

***On Historical Accuracy: These are "sim realistic" rather than strictly historically accurate.  They are inspired by real Victorian dresses, but I've taken liberties to sim them.  If you have issues with this, I'm sorry and I hope you find something more to your liking elsewhere Smiley
2  Sims 2 Community Downloads / Misses / School Uniforms with Pants for Teen Girls on: February 13, 2008, 01:01:04 pm
This was a request that I had a lot of fun making.  It's a new mesh and three recolors of the teen girl's school uniform with pants instead of the maxis skirt.  These will show up in everyday, so your girls can have the option of not wearing skirts to school each day.

The recolors have sensible names, so you can keep only the ones you want.  The mesh was made with SimPe and Milkshape and has 2244 faces (Similar to Maxis skirt which has 2176).  There is a working fat morph, and the mesh is bumpmap enabled.

Known Issue: There is some minor clipping of the pants through the very bottom edge of the blazer when the sim does some more exaggerated turns.  It's the same thing you'll see on many of the Maxis meshes, but I wanted to mention it in the interest of full disclosure. Smiley

Feel free to recolor the mesh as you like and include it with uploads.  Just please give credit and a link.  The textures are edited Maxis and can be used with credit and a link.  If you do use this, I'd be thrilled if you let me know!  That always makes my day.

As always, let me know if you have problems (or good things to say).  Thanks for looking!

**Hairs are by XM Sims, Adele, and Rose.
3  Sims 2 Community Downloads / Junior / Teen Boys Untucked on: May 29, 2007, 04:41:58 pm
These are cross posted at MTS2.  I usually don't cross post, but decided to put these both places (someone asked nicely Smiley ).  They obviously owe a huge enormous debt to fanseelamb, both for the idea and for letting me use and modify her alphas and use her textures for the layered tees.

All of the tops have been optimized to work with all of the bottoms and all meshes have Maxis sized fat morphs.  The mapping on the fitted jeans and the plain tops is the same as for the adult ones that fansee originally made, so recolors of these can be easily adapted to teens.

The zips include necessary meshes and the recolors are named with obvious names, so you can toss unwanted colors.

The set includes:
Fitted Jeans: These are the jeans that most of fansee's recolors are based on.  This zip includes 3 washes of jeans.  The light jeans and the medium jeans are available with boots or sneakers.  The black jeans have black boots.  The set also has khaki cords with brown boots.  The jeans in this set are tweaked Maxis NL jeans.

Baggy Pants: These come in three washes of denim with shoes(black, light and regular) and 4 cotton pants colors (khaki, black, gray and green).  The khaki pants and the light pants also come with flip flop versions.  The mesh is "barefoot", and I will probably do some barefeet versions of these soon.

Sweaters: turtleneck sweaters in 8 colors.

Jackets: Warmup jackets in 8 different color combinations.

Fitted Tees: 4 logo tees and 4 plain tees

Henleys: 10 different henley style shirts

Layered Tees: These use fanseelamb's texture and are offered here in 8 color combinations.

Polos: 4 print and 4 solid polo shirts

Policy:
-You can make recolors of these meshes and post them wherever you want (and if you let me know it will make my day and
you get a chocolate cookie Smiley )
-The layered tees are fanseelamb's and the textures are subject to her Terms of Use-The alphas are based on fanseelamb's and are free to use as per her terms
-For the most part just ask before using my textures; EXCEPTIONS are the fit jeans which are my tweaks of Maxis, so you can do
what you want with those without asking. And you can also add logos or recolor the short sleeved tees and the jackets with appropriate credit
and without asking.

Thanks for looking and enjoy! Smiley
4  Sims 2 Community Downloads / Misses / Teen Maternity PJs (2 new meshes) on: May 09, 2007, 12:10:45 pm
These were requested by Foxybaby, and they are things I had generally intended to do.  I would really appreciate hearing about any problems, weirdness, etc (and good things as well Smiley ).  Keep an eye out here for updates.

*In the picture above all of the girls are in their 3rd trimesters except for the girl with the curly brown hair who is in her second.  Attached you will also see a pic of the outfits on the Sims when they are not pregnant.

You will need a hack or cheats to plan outfits for pregant teens.  I'm using the insim wardrobe adjuster.

Both meshes were made in Milkshape with WesH's plugins and Demon's tools.  The nightshirt mesh has 2006 faces and 1360 vertices and the PJ mesh has 1988 faces and 1331 vertices.  To install just put them in your downloads folder.

The meshes and alphas are recolor friendly, but please ask before using my actual textures.  If you make recolors, I'd love to hear about it.

Thanks for looking and enjoy!
5  Sims 2 Community Downloads / Misses / Teen Maternity Tunics with Leggings on: May 01, 2007, 11:10:42 pm
I made these because I really like the look of leggings and long tops as maternity wear, and I wanted them for teens too.  The mesh was made in Milkshape and SimPe using WesH's plugins.  It has 1936 faces and 1306 Vertices.  To install it just dump it into your downloads folder.  You will need a hack or cheats to plan outfits for pregnant teens (I'm using the insim wardrobe adjuster).

If you notice any problems with these outfits (or good things Smiley ) please let me know.  The mesh and alpha are recolor friendly (with credit).  Please don't use my actual textures without asking.  And if you do recolor and post it somewhere, I'd really love to see it, so send me a quick message.

Thanks for looking and enjoy Smiley.
6  Sims 2 Community Downloads / Women / Fantasy Wedding Dresses (requested) on: April 24, 2007, 07:11:26 pm
So, I was completely procrastinating today and finished these dresses requested here.  This isn't an exact copy, since I recreated it instead of trying to use the picture as a texture, but I think they do have the feel of the original (or at least as close as I can get for now Smiley ).

Both dresses use a mesh by Besen which is included.

Thanks for looking and enjoy!

7  Sims 2 Community Downloads / Mixed Clothing / Kids Spring and Summer Outfits on: April 22, 2007, 02:47:18 pm
I've been making some kids' stuff lately, and with the wheather getting warmer (cross fingers) here, I felt like doing some more recolors for the warmer months.

These are all classified under everyday and they all are based on Maxis meshes.  All are whole body except for the little girl's polo shirt and tennis skirt which are separates.

I hope some of you find a use for these, and if you want to leave a comment it would be very much welcomed and appreciated Smiley.  Enjoy!

*If you are interested in the whole set (including other colors of these and winter and fall options) it can be found through the link to my MTS2 page
8  Retired Creators / Male / Designer Open Shirts for the Athlete on: January 15, 2007, 04:05:01 pm
So, I'm procrastinating cleaning and doing work by skinning things that I just want in my game.  I love the fabulous athlete body type by Marvine and Beosboxboy, and wanted some new clothes to go with it.  Right now I'm working on some others (hit a small snag with some tops), but the textures I had skinned a while ago onto the Maxis mesh adapted pretty well to this body with a few adjustments and updates.  To get these to show up you will need the mesh found here.

Thanks for looking and enjoy! Smiley
9  Sims 2 Community Downloads / Misses / Historical Maternity Collection and No tassel MESH updtd 5/4/07- Please ReDownload on: December 29, 2006, 08:20:32 pm
Edited 5/12 to put the right dress into the skinner's package
Edited 5/4/07 to fix the mesh package which was acting oddly Please redownload the dresses.

The longish story : I noticed that the tassel was showing up for me in my playable game, but was absent (as it should have been) in my testing game.  It turned out to be caused by something silly I did with original package, so I put the mesh in a shiny new package that works in both versions.

I apologize for the mistake and I want to thank Mandie for asking about a mesh with no tassel, which caused me to notice my silly mistake Smiley

The mesh is included with each set.

** I've also added a file with just the mesh and a Maxis texture for anyone who wants to use it to recolor without having to d/l a bunch of old fashioned dresses,
_________________________________________________________________________

This is my first upload here and the first Sims skinning I've done in a while, but lately I've been messing with historical neighborhoods .  Although there are many amazing maternity outfits for teens here, I couldn't find any that worked with historical type story lines, so I dusted off body shop and Milkshape and made some.  These are cloned off the outfits that come with inteen.  They are essentially alpha edits and recolors with a basic mesh edit to take the tassel off the dress (the mesh is included and feel free to recolor it).

The fist set is a  Renaissance/ Medieval Set with four color combinations.

Then Victorian Set 1 which includes prints for everyday and a white dress suitable for a bride and a black one for a young widow or a girl in mourning.

Victorian Set 2 includes short sleeved plain and print dresses

The Undies set consists of three colors of corsets worn over a chemise and pantalets

Just put these in your downloads folder.  You will need to either use Squinge's  hack found http://www.insimenator.org/showthread.php?t=7238 or use Tom's Clothing Tester as described here in order to have your teens wear these.

Thanks for looking and enjoy Smiley
