Oh, just a question as I'm used to Bloom's mesh. I have a "Defaults" folder and keep a bunch of overrides in there and just keep one with "package" at the end and just put "off" on the other ones, then I just change them when I feel like having a different one. I see that this one comes with a special mesh, do I have to put both of them in there at the same time? Thanks! Yes you will need both. Just put my whole little folder in your downloadsfolder and you will be a-ok Just remember to not have BlooM's infant meshes in your downloads folder as well they will conflict

Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Discussion / infant outfits without the hat
|
on: January 06, 2008, 07:21:52 pm

Hi all,
I have made some infant outfits without the hat (so we can see Tenshii's lovely infant hair) on a mesh made by Jorenne some time ago. I have gotten permission from her to add the mesh in my downloads but now that I have everything ready, I have no idea where to upload the outfits, cause they are not recolours of BlooM's fantastic mesh like my others. Could anyone point me in the direction as to where to upload these little outfits.
Thanks Melanie

mcrudd, she is too cute! But how in the world is she sitting down feeding her?! Thats cool!
clcny20, thanks
I use the posing hack here http://www.modthesims2.com/showthread.php?t=244917 then I pose my sim mom, when she is in her posing position I click on the baby and say feed ella bottle. It will look weird with the baby floating in the air and mom sliding around to the kitchen but once she has the bottle the baby slides up the mom's body and into her arms where you must quickly pause and move them to where you want them. It is very hard, it took so many tries over and over :smt120 and over but when you get it right it looks fantastic

I made the summer and winter outfits for my own personal use really, cause I battled to perfect the necks (I am very fussy) but if you guys like them Go ahead and get them

Well I finally got my recolor to work in game, the hat and outfit turned out good, but somehow his arms and legs turned white (that was the outside). How do you get it so that it doesn't color the arms and legs but only the outfit and hat? LOL, I don't usually have trouble recoloring meshes! ;p You need to save the parts you don't want to show as a transparant colour. I would suggest because you have white in the hat to change the surrounding colour to for eg red and then save the red colour as a transparant..thats if you use irvanview and normal paint. If you are lucky and have psp you only have to make that part transparant. It is also advisable to use the build dxt feature instead of copy and paste. That way your patterns on your outfit won't blur.
