Title: Cooking the old fashioned way and no skilling hack Post by: ladymiriam on July 20, 2009, 09:49:17 am Hello again everyone,
This time I'm looking for a hearth, the kind that would sit in the middle of the room. It needs to function as a cooker/stove though. My hood is inspired by history, especially the medieval period. If any of you know this set, http://www.modthesims.info/download.php?t=72971, you'll know that this almost perfect hearth is a BBQ, so does not give all the cooking options. This is the kind of thing I'm looking for, ideally without the chimney bit at the top so I can place it in the centre of a room. Alternatively, do you know if I can make the game think this hearth is a cooker-fiddling with SimPE or something? (for my own use) Not that I have a clue about that programme but I'd like to. I was thinking maybe an invisible stove may exist, and I could use that with suitable objects and move objects on? Any suggestions much appreciated, thanks. Also, is there a hack that allows my sims from gaining skill points from the chess table and the likes that can be turned on and off, on an individual or family basis? I was hoping not to use pay stuff, it's ok in my own game but I would like to offer the finished lot somewhere and I think it best not to use pay stuff, best to showcase free stuff if I can. I had forgotten all about the Simstones one, I've downloaded it and I'll see if I can do anything fancy with it, thanks for that.
