1  Simmers' Paradise / Apartment Life Help / Can't turn lot into apartment lot - HELP! on: September 30, 2008, 04:44:50 pm
I'm trying to create my own apartment complex. It has two sections. One section is basically a full house (one whole unit) with a back yard. The other is an apartment complex with 6 units. When I try to turn it into an apartment complex I get the error that something is wrong. I know it's only with the main 1 unit section because if I take the apartment door off of it then it converts just fine. I have looked over it with a fine tooth comb and can't figure out what I did wrong. I flattened the lot before building. I made sure the back yard was totally enclosed with a fence, and there is only one way in to the unit. If I were to upload the lot file somewhere would someone be willing to look it over and tell me what I am doing wrong? This is really ticking me off that I can't figure it out. Thanks.
2  Sims 2 Community Downloads / Men / New specialty t-shirts for your Sims (male edition) on: November 04, 2007, 12:13:37 pm
Hi,
This is my first upload here. All the uploads I'm doing today were rejected at MTS2 for various reasons (but mostly what it all boiled down to was telling me that my designs sucked). I hope at least someone here enjoys the time I put into these. I'd like to credit the author I recolored the basic white shirt from, but I can't remember where I got it or who they were. If that person happens to be on this board and recognizes their work please PM me and I'll add you to the credits. No custom mesh is needed that I know of.

I've included both my specialty tees and some plain basic color tees. Also, if anyone knows how to convert these tees for use with young adults it would be greatly appreciated. The body shop I use doesn't even show the base color shirt I used in young adult mode and there is no way that I can see to do this. So, they are only available for adults. Which is a pity since a few of them would be perfect for the younger crowd. Since I'm on a Mac and we usually don't get all the bells and whistles for stuff like this maybe one of you Windows people might like to try. Thanks.

4  Simmers' Paradise / Mac-Users Only Peer Support / Help! How do I install custom careers on a Mac? on: May 18, 2007, 05:23:53 pm
I have downloaded several custom careers. I installed three of them, but none of them show up in the game. I put them all in the downloads folder. Did I put them in the right place or is there some other way of installing careers?
