Title: In need of accessory mesh help
Post by: sim0727 on July 18, 2008, 10:57:22 am
Well I'm new to meshing and have been following a tutorial from mod the sims2 to make accessories. I have been trying to make a pair of really large accessory horns and have managed to get them in the game. They look fine in body shop at all angles and in game it looks fine only at certain angles. :smt120 Viewing the sim from the right the horns look all solid but when viewed on the left they seem to get tangled. I've attached some pics so you can see what I mean.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Ok, I found out what was causing the problem. It was a pet's issue. I think I got everything working now.

Aha!  I recognise that problem!  In case anyone's reading this and they want to know how to fix it, the tutorial to do so is here:

it can be caused by several things:
*underweighted bones
*incorrect opacity
*wrong type TXMT
