Have you checked all the walls and/or the lights for a hidden switch? Tried sleeping in the bed(s)? Any tombstones/urns to mourn? Some of the hidden triggers/switches are a bit odd. Beyond that, I haven't had a chance to play much of Egypt yet. ...and watch out for the rats. I used the sands of understanding and it highlighted a pushable statue but I moved it all over the place & nothing happened.
