That looka like a graphics card issue. Is your graphics card compatible with the game? Even though your lap top is brand new, they tend to make poopier graphics cards for lap tops :\

Also, make sure your graphics card's drivers are up to date. You will need to go to the manufacturers website to get the most up to date driver.

Can you clarify what "doesn't work" means? Is it...

*Not Loading?
*Crashing?
**Crashing before it loads?
**Crashing while doing something after it loads?

First, make sure you are running the correct version of bodyshop. If seasons is your most recent EP, you should make sure you are selecting bodyshop from there.

Secondly, how much time are you giving it to load before you declare it "not working" ? If you have a lot of CC it can take quite a long time for even the loading screen to appear, but it's still loading.
-After clicking on the application to open it, hit CTRL-ALT-DELETE to open the task manager and look at the processes.
-Find TS2Bodyshop.exe
-If it stays there and you can see the "Mem Usage" value increasing, it is loading, you just can't see it yet!
-If it is there and then disapearing, something is forcing the process to close. (Usually for me it's the .cache or cigen files)

Hopefully this will help...

It should not overwrite your towns or sims, they will still be there. It might convert your saved games to its file format (not sure of that though) but it won't hurt your game to install it now

What you did will not work and will probably have bugged up your game. You might want to restore your neighborhood from a backup (I hope you backed it up before trying to delete them!!) I know this from personal experience when I first started messing with SimPE a long time ago.

I'm at work, so I can't follow along with that tutorial right now, but if i have time when I get home I can try to see if I can explain the steps better >.<

When you run businesses, do you have any sims acting as salesman? Having a salesman with a gold badge in sales can be very helpful in getting your products to sell well.

I haven't tried it yet, but I wouldn't be so quick to write it off. This is a new project for his that didn't originally intend to replace insim, so he is still developing features for it. I'll be keeping my eye on it at least ^^

That's quite odd! Do you have any pictures? It affects every sim in that household? What about other households - do they have the normal plumbob?

One thing you could do is go to Sim Logical and download the 'Stay Things Shrub.' It will keep all of the stuff in the house when you move them out. Then you canmove them back in and see if it fixed the bug I suppose.

Their character files should still exist in the neighborhood, but you won't be able to bring them back by regular game means. You could use SimPE to extract them and re-make them, and then you could also use it to replace their memories.. probably a tedious process though >.<;

This is not needed. Every time an EP is installed the game sets your CC to be DISABLED by default. You must go to the game options, click the asterick to bring up the CC dialog, enable your CC, then CLOSE the game and reload it.

I'm pretty sure cramboys mods are compatible with each other, so I don't think you have 2 hacks conflicting with each other. You may still have a hack conflicting with your game though. Have you tried removing all CC and retesting to see if the glitch stops? If it does, there's a bad file in there somewhere and you will have to weed it out. Check the log files that your game generates. If it generated an object error the last time you played, copy it here so I can look it over and I'll try to let you know if it has anything useful.

I'm not sure if you can actually convert the lot.. but over at Sim Logical, Inge has a mod that allows you to place a beach object on non-beach lots to make them function like one.

The game will re-generate them. I do this every once in a while when I replace defaults or custom CAS face templates so they will show up like they should in game or in bodyshop.

I think raven is right, I'm pretty sure flashing RED is a sign of video or graphics issue and BLUE is sign of missing or bad mesh. Make sure your video card is compatible with the game and if it is, make sure you have the most current video card drivers. You can find your video card driver's at the manufactuer's website.

I used to have the same problem. I also used to have a bunch of OFB hacks by squinge, including one that forced all make overs to turn out successful. I kinda suspect that hack went bad with newer EPs, so I removed it last night, but I haven't had a chance to re-load and see if my chairs are looking more attractive to customers. By any chance do you have that hack?
