Reduces in-use lag and graphical freezing for ownable vehicles and also a little bit for taxies (though not as much as for ownables).  But no, it does not increase or decrease the speed at which the vehicle moves while you are driving it, even though you might have thought that from the picture.

By default, it also shuts off the car stereo/music before the driver exits the vehicle, but only if it was a return trip (meaning the vehicle just recently returned to the driveway after a trip off-lot).  If you just sit in the vehicle for fun, turn on the stereo, exit the vehicle, then the music will still stay on to allow your Sims to dance to the car stereo music.

"Watchout!" - exclaims one of your Sims, directed at a non-moving vehicle with no driver.  "OMG!!!  It's going to run me over!"

Well obviously not, when there is no driver while the vehicle is parked and not even moving.  This hack stops pointless "Watchout!" interactions, similar to the antiwatchout hack from MATY.  While that hack conflicts with my "Vehicles cost money to drive" hack, this one does not.  You should also read about the problems with the MATY hack in the Known Conflicts section.

The second part of the hack is the "no shuffling" fix.  The Watchout and Shuffling issues are intertwined, so I fixed them both in the same hack file.  This second part is related to Sims shuffling around endlessly when trying to get into a vehicle.  It stops the problem from ever happening.

This hack does not alter taxi behavior; only ownable vehicles are affected.

This hack changes 5 aspects of the money tree's behavior.

- Makes the tree only harvestable by Sims with a wallet (playable Sims)

- Allows playable visitors to keep the funds from harvesting the tree

- Sims will always succeed aspirationally when harvesting the tree

- Decreases the amount of money obtained each time you harvest a money tree.  It is now a random number between 10-15 Simoleans instead of the original amount of 40.  Additionally, it now takes 24 hours until the money tree can be harvested again, instead of the original 6 hours.

- Automatically waters the tree after it is harvested (can be disabled)

This "Globals Pack" file replaces my older addon named "Budget transact".  So if you were instructed to download the Budget Transact addon by another hack, you must download this Globals Pack instead.  It will do the same thing.  One important change is that this pack requires my Game Edition addon, while the older "Budget transact" did not.

Globals Pack is a set of globally accessible functions that many of my hacks use.  It is not a game-altering hack in and of itself.  It is simply an addon that other hacks need to explicitly call.  If no other hacks call the file, it will just lay dormant doing absolutely nothing (not even using up CPU cycles).

Instead of including this file along with each individual hack that needs it, I made it only available as a separate download.  I've done that so that my old hacks will not need to be constantly repackaged to include a new "globals pack" file every time this file gets changed to fix issues or to add new features.  

It is just so much simpler (for me anyway, maybe not for you) to do it that way.

Other people can reference these routines from their own hacks if they wish and can even tell people that my "Globals Pack" is required for their own hack to function.  It is not advisable to directly include my file along with any other hacks though, since I do plan on updating it to newer versions frequently.

* Since some people are not reviewing my README file before installing the addon, I'll make this clear upfront.  Do not install any test files from the embedded RAR archives unless you are planning on making your own hacks.  Those 2 files make messages scroll down your screen every time you move the mouse over a sink.  They are only for testing hacks that you make yourself.

EP = Expansion Pack (usually new game code + objects)
SP = Stuff Pack (usually just new objects)

This is simply a tool that allows all of my hacks to be backward compatible with all or most editions of The Sims 2, from the original base game of 2004, up through the latest Expansion Packs: such as FreeTime / Apartment Life / Mansion & Garden Stuff.  It adds global BHAV routines that permit any hack from any author to check which EPs/SPs are installed upon the player's computer.

Any functions that already come with the game are either broken or sorely lacking in functionality.  So I coded my own routines to do the job properly!

Effects

This addon is the end result of my desire for 100% accuracy in determining which game engines are installed with the minimum amount of CPU processing power spent executing the checks, all accessible globally from any hack.  That is the main reason for this addon.  Plus, the global routine "Expansion Pack - EP(param) Installed?" that comes with University and higher is not a proper solution to this issue because it does not take into account the base game, returning false positives for many EP checks.  In addition, it crashes when checking for "Apartment Life" on older EPs.

That cd_buisness_levels is really great too though.

Hackdiff shows that it shouldn't need updating for AL.  But I will probably be doing a new version soon anyway that allows autonomous watering.  Right now it is only user-directed (you have to click each flower bed manually one-at-a-time).

yep, all my mods will get updated for Apartment Life and I am adding new features to them right now, especially compatibility with all expansion packs (including all the old ones even).  And a bunch of cool new hacks are on the way.  AL changed so many aspects of the game that it is taking a while.

A shining "Neon Flamingo" that you could hang on a wall came with the base game before any expansion packs were released.  The object worked fine in the base game and in the University expansion too.  But for some reason starting at Nightlife and continuing through all future expansions up to the unpatched FreeTime, the object was missing from buy mode (Decorative - Wall Hangings).

FreeTime Patch 1 or higher (v1.13.0.148 or higher) actually fixed the glitch and put the object back into buy mode.  However, people without FreeTime are still unable to enjoy the Flamingo.  This hack does work with all expansion packs of the game, but it only needed for Nightlife, Open For Business, Pets, Seasons, & Bon Voyage.

If you do have a patched version of FreeTime, you should not use this hack, unless you prefer the "Neon Flamingo" be a painting instead of a lighted wall lamp.  It will replace the new FreeTime "Neon Flamingo" light in buy mode (Lighting - Wall) with an old painting-style one (Decorative - Wall Hangings).  The FreeTime one is an actual Lamp that gives off light.  The original base game one never gave off any light and was considered an inanimate wall object like a painting.


Install

Go to where the base game is installed, such as:

or wherever you installed the game

You will know it is the correct one because it has this file: TSBin\Sims2.exe

Extract the FIX.RAR file to this directory: TSData\Res\Catalog

All expansion packs will now allow you to buy the Neon Flamingo (wall hanging).

I think you are correct, because I just tried sending a pregnant Sim to work in my game and it worked fine. Sim got pregnant the day before at 11:00. Then she went to work the next day at 8:00 and returned home at 15:00. She got her first preg bumb after exiting the carpool vehicle and was put on maternity leave. Then I quit without saving and tried driving to work with an owned car. She got the bump after returning from work with the her own car too.

I use TJ's School Bus - bring friend dialog hack and TJ's Bring Hobby Friend From Work Fix 1.1. You should be safe to put the Hobby Friend fix back in. But I have never used that Monique hack, so maybe it is conflicting with mine or maybe its a glitch in Monique's hack. Could even be a rare game glitch too.
