Okay, I added a link to the article (see OP) on Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader on the Wookieepedia. There are many many great pictures on this page! cool

There is an Anakin Skywalker Sim already on the Exchange but it's not really that great, I think. It's poorly implented and looks nothing like Anakin or even Hayden Christensen (the actor).

I would like to see 2 separate Anakins, both good and evil, since Anakin becomes evil (Darth Vader) in about the middle of the movie.

The first Sim would be Anakin as a good man, but of course not without character flaws. He needs to have a scar on the right side of his face, like he does in the movie. A custom skin could likely be used to make the appearance of his mechanical arm (his arm was cut off in Episode II). He also needs to be dressed like he dresses in the movies; try not to use any EAxis clothes and accessories, those just won't do. If at all possible, it would be nice if he could also have a light saber; I just don't know how it could be done. His facial features should bear a striking resemblance to Anakin Skywalker (Hayden Christensen) as seen in Episodes II and III.

The second would be an Anakin Sim as an evil man (Darth Vader), but before he completely loses his humanity and is transformed into the Darth Vader body suit. This would be nearly the same as the good man, so just use the same Anakin Sim as above, but dress him up like a Sith Lord, and don't forget about those evil-looking glowing red eyes, either! His personality traits should be somewhat different since he is now an evil man.

An upload to the Exchange or a fansite such as MTS would be great (or perhaps both).

Have at it! cool

Yes, I have WA 1.8/2.3.3, with the latest AwesomeMod installed. Wink

In just the last couple of days, someone on MTS forums led me to a place where I found a mod that allows you to create babies in TS3 instantly! But it also does like "hundreds" of other cool things, too! Most of which I have yet to try it out! This is the Super Computer mod, which appears to be a near-equivalent to the SimBlender and Insimenator for the Sims 2! There are other cool mods at this site, too! I have yet to try any others out, though. Follow the link below to get to it:

I still wish it were possible to create babies in CAS, though. Wink
4  The Sims 3 / Pudding Requests / Re: Permanent Birth Control + Risky WooHoo (Mod Idea) on: January 05, 2010, 11:35:40 am
I think the chances are actually more like 1 in a million to be honest with you. But you know, if the chances in real life are really that low, why not ignore this kind of thing in game and make this kind of birth control 100% effective in-game. It's important to think about realism, yes, but fun is just as important, too. Besides, if a player did use a mod like this and still somehow managed to come across that 1 in a million chance, the player might just end up reporting it as a bug or something in the mod, when it is not really as such. LoL!!! Grin Think about it. In-Game, the players would expect for pregnancy to never happen in this case, so it shouldn't, ever. Need I say more. Wink
5  The Sims 3 / Pudding Requests / Permanent Birth Control + Risky WooHoo (Mod Idea) on: December 28, 2009, 10:13:56 pm
I have already seen many mods in different flavors on MTS and other sites on the Internet that make WooHoo between 2 sims not 100% safe. They often come in different flavors allowing different percent chances of a risky WooHoo (or unplanned pregnancy) even if the player chooses to WooHoo only and not try for a baby. They also are most likely to be a core mod.

What if there was a limited way you could manage risky woohoo in the Sims 3? Like for individual sims, for example. In real life, men can opt for a kind of surgery called a vasectomy to permanently prevent them impregnating a woman. On the flip side, women can have their tubes tied, which works for them just as well as the male procedure.

So, what if there was a mod that allowed you to send individual sims to the hospital to have birth control surgery? They would just go straight to the hospital, go in and have the surgery (with a wait and a progress bar), and come out unable to have children at all, which means the option to 'Try for Baby' will no longer appear in the menu when this sim can woohoo and this also would completely disable risky woohoo, but only for that one individual sim. Once this procedure is complete, it becomes impossible for that sim to become pregnant or impregnate another sim, so long as you keep the mod installed in the game. If you remove it, the sim could lose their permanent birth control status.

Of course, in real life, this kind of surgery is not free, and it would be realistic to have to pay a price to have the surgery, of which this  price could probably come in different flavors. Wink

Also, I have heard in the news recently that in real life it may sometimes be possible to actually reverse a vasectomy! It is not always successful, but it works sometimes. Men may want to do this if the leave their SO and go to another and want to have children again. I don't think women have it as good as men, though. Once their tubes are tied, they can never ever have anymore kids as far as I know. So, optionally, it should also be possible to reverse permanent birth control in the game by having surgery again, and paying for it again, but like in real life this may not always be successful; different flavors could come in handy here, too. Wink

Also, it would be nice if this did not have to be a core mod, but just a tuning mod, so it won't conflict with other core mods. If it has to be a core mod, then I would suggest it be implemented as part of an-already existing core mod. Perhaps J.M. Pescado could incorporate this into his Awesomemod, which is the core mod that I use in my game, and many others do, too. Wink

Just food for thought... cool

BTW, I have World Adventures with the latest patches, but I think that this should work for both the base game and WA if at all possible. Wink

I do not know if this matters or not, but I also forgot to mention that I am using the latest and greatest version of AwesomeMod as well. Yes, the newest one that is compatible with the 1.7.9 patch and WA. This helpful information is just in case there are any conflicts. Ideally, any such mod described in the OP should work with or without AwesomeMod or with any other Core mod, if at all possible. Wink

Could you please let us know if you have the WA Expansion and what patch you have?

Yes, I have the WA expansion with the latest and greatest patch, 2.2.8. cool

In the Sims 2 Monique (from Insimenator.org) created a mod called 'Create Baby with X' (see link below). It allowed the player to choose 2 parents for a baby and mix their genes together before spawning a baby immediately without going through pregnancy. The new baby would appear directly in the Maxis crib.

I would like to see a similar mod for the Sims 3. It should be able to do all that the 'Create Baby with X' mod could do for the Sims 2 and then some. Like perhaps allowing the player to just randomize the spawned baby's genes, but you would still have to choose 1 or 2 "parents" to have custody of the baby. In this way, it would be like the spawned baby was adopted out of the adoption pool, since the baby is not blood related to the parents. Also, I know this may be far-fetched and may not even be possible, but if there is some way to make it so that you could choose the gender of the spawned baby, that would be perfect! You couldn't do this in the Sims 2 with the 'Create Baby with X' mod or any other way.

Yeah, I know it sounds kind of like cheating, to use such a mod to have a baby at anytime without going through pregnancy, but my intention of using such a mod is to aid in setting up a new game with a family that has one or more babies already in the game, especially since you can't create a new baby in CAS (but it would be nice if you could! Wink ).

Thank you for your time and attention! Grin
