I don't think they're excluding the toddler and teen age stages, 'cause those other stages were listed under "Things that will not change," so they might just be saying that those stages will still be there. Something else that caught my eye at SnootySims: Now that, I like!  I'd be aghast if they really got rid of toddlers/teens. I doubt they will, I think it was a major upgrade for everyone who plays the sims series. I expect the growth to maybe be a bit more seamless, not just *pop* and age up on your birthday. it seems like a logical place to go to after TS1 + 2. isarah: As much as I hate maxis defaults, they have inched closer to more tasteful clothes (inch... like a worm) in the transfer from TS1 - > 2. And if the skin textures and hair meshes are anything like those shown in the prerelease screens, they're a significant improvement upon what was in Ts2, blocky, unrealistic, and very out of style. I agree that I'm going to wait to see what happens before I jump on the bandwagon though. edit: I just looked at snootysims, hygiene and bladder will be hidden? T_T that's frustrating |

I looked at the screens today, the new appearance of sims seems very like that of avatars in secondlife.
:B I like how they've softened features and given nicer looking skin textures, and hair meshes look much more real even at this stage of production.
Luckily I Just got a new pc with a dual core cpu and 2 gb of ram, + evga geforce8800GT (512mb) so I'm set for that!
I'm one of those people who will take a while to get as into TS3 as TS2, I enjoy how much CC is around at this moment for TS2 and likely will wait a while to see how creators respond to TS3, but I am very excited.

Thanks gen0ism, Helena and Tekku Tekku: to get close-ups press F3 on your keyboard, you can then use the right and left clicks on your mouse to zoom in and out and move the camera around. Pressing F5 changes the background colour to black, and pressing F9 removes all the bodyshop icon things. Hope that helps ya works with seasons BS? O: I'll try again but for some reason I seem to remember trying and it not working. |

nice sims, jessica hi, i thought i'd share mine as well (small celebrity?) i made a sim of lily allen, from this pic (from perez hilton, hence the writing on it ) she's so cute!  I love her look. is she a singer? forgive my naivety. XD and you did a great job simmifying her! O: I'm always impressed when people can piece together CC to look like someone, without making an actual face texture of the person (kinda takes the fun out of it  ) |

2DaHardway isn't around very much, but I think I can answer it for you. They look like the same objects I downloaded from SimTech2.biz. (you have to register to view the site...at least that's they way it was the last time I visited a few months back.) They are really nice, but I wouldn't recommend downloading anything from there if you have any EP lower than Pets. I had one instance that those very same ones in the picture crashed my game... yet they were listed as compatible with the EPs I had (Uni,NL,OFB). Now that I have Seasons, I use the items every now and again. Don't let this stop you from checking what the site has to offer, though. This is just a simple warning in case your game crashes after downloading these and you can't figure out why. :angel:
(And unfortunately, the site is down at the moment... either that, or they've changed their address. :dontknow:) shame D: I have a celeb sim of a keyboardist I like. |

D: her hair and skin aren't importing correctly with clean installer for me. it gives me issues alot... if somehow you could find a link to them for me please? ^^;
and is her alien skin a default replacement? I Like it alot. ^_^ she's adorable!

Here's a couple of pics I thought were crazy... I went into my home studio one day and started laying down some vocals... well all of a sudden there's bubbles coming out of nowhere... guess I am so fresh... so clean!!! LOL o: where did you get that keyboard and stuff? |
