Since this is advertising a Sims 2 related site, moved to Sims 2 Web section.  Nice sim, by the way.  Smiley
123  Simmers' Paradise / Where Can I Find...? / Re: WCIF: Water Mod? *Found!* on: May 26, 2010, 06:12:01 am
Here's something else for the pond water.  I'm not sure about the ocean water, but I do know that the radiance light mod has some more enhancement to water reflectivity.  Wink

ETA:  Psychosims has a neighborhood object for the ocean water... not sure if this one is what you're looking for, but the concept behind it might interest you.  Smiley

Do not post, request or link to keys, key generators, cracks, warez/illegal software sites (or software piracy), crack search engines, file sharing networks (such as Kazaa or LimeWire), or any other illegal activities. Asking for any information regarding the location of the aforementioned items for any reason is also against site rules. This is certainly not an exhaustive list, so please use your common sense and, if in doubt, ask any of the site staff for clarification. Violation of this rule may earn you a straight ban without warning.

This also includes asking for free download links to Sims 2 and Sims 3 Store downloads.  Please keep this in mind next time, as we don't support this here.

Also, for future reference, please take the time to make sure you have capitals at the beginning of your sentences.  This will make it slightly easier for some of us to read your posts.  It's just a small favor we ask of everyone, since reading all lowercase can be a strain on some people's eyes.  Smiley

A lot of users here have English as a second language and have a hard enough time understanding as it is. To that end, please make an effort to use proper grammar and spelling. We don't expect everyone to have perfect textbook English, but the clearer you are, the better you will be understood, and the more response you'll get to help questions, or any post in general. We are not the grammar police here and understand typos happen and not everyone is a perfect speller, but if you're not using periods, commas, capital letters and a reasonable semblance of accurate spelling out of pure laziness, we will call you on it.

If I'm not mistaken, diesel used one of Warlokk's body shapes for her self-sim.  I can't remember which one exactly, whether it was Rio or CPU, but one of those has to have that big morph with it.  Smiley

And she's not gone really... she's still around at times, so if you still can't find it, I'm sure shooting her a PM wouldn't hurt.  Wink
128  A Safe Haven / General Discussion / Re: Always tell your loved ones........ on: May 17, 2010, 11:02:57 pm
I understand exactly what you mean, and I'm sorry for your losses.  Family is nothing to take for granted.  One of my cousins passed last week, and he was just buried today.  We were just less than 10 years apart in age, so it was a real shocker.  I didn't think last Thanksgiving would be the last time I'd ever see my cousin alive, and I wish I could have had that connection to him like everyone else in my generation did.

So just to tack on to what you said, bionix:  Don't ever put off telling someone you care about them.  You never really know if you'll be able to get that chance again... living with regrets like that can feel much heavier than remembering a loved one's impact on your life.

It's a long shot and due to recent instances I stopped suggesting it sometime after BV came out but... did you patch your game?  I'm not sure if this was a problem in the latest EPs/SPs or not, but it definitely unnatural.

In any case, if you don't want the patch first, I'd suggest trying to copy over any/all files from your game disks to their designated folder in the Program Files' "EA Games" folder, especially your objects.package files beforehand.  There's info on what to do in this link.  If that doesn't work, then try grabbing the latest patch from the Sims 2 site and seeing if that works.

Hope it helps you.  Smiley

How long has this been happening for you?  If it happened recently, did you install any mods in your game before this started happening?
131  A Safe Haven / Quizzes / Re: What's Your Defense Mechanism? on: May 09, 2010, 09:49:52 pm
Your Defense Mechanism is Humor

When life gets you down, you just have to laugh. And that's a very healthy reaction.
It's not that you don't take your problems seriously. You do. You just don't let them control you.

You are able to make the best of things, even when things look very, very bleak.
Some people may consider your sense of humor to be dark, but it has served you well!

Your Bed Says You Have Your Head in the Clouds

Outward appearances aren't important to you at all. You think that the over emphasis on looks to be shallow.

Your life tends to be completely chaotic. You aren't a very organized person, and you tend to be slow in cleaning up messes.

You are not very high maintenance in general, but you are high maintenance about a few things.

In relationships, you tend to be quite dominant. You enjoy taking charge.

You tend to be a dreamy, head in the clouds type of person. You think in terms of possibilities.

You are a total homebody. You are happiest when you're at home.

133  A Safe Haven / Quizzes / Re: Are You Philosophically Eastern or Western? on: May 09, 2010, 09:35:15 pm
You Are Eastern

You see yourself as a very small part of the universe - and you're still trying to figure out what your role is.
Discovering who you are and the meaning of your life is very important to you.

You see life as a journey, and you hope to learn as much as you possibly can.
You believe that living a virtuous and reflective life is how to reach enlightenment.

First things first:  Welcome to Insimenator.org.  Smiley

Secondly:  Please be sure to use capital letters at the beginning of your sentences.  It helps to make your post a lot more legible for those of us with poor eyesight.  Also, next time, try not to type your thread subjects in all caps, as that is considered yelling.

Thirdly:  I believe what you are looking for can be found here.  Look for the one that says "clothingtool.zip".  It will allow you to access every available outfit in the game, if I remember correctly.
