Title: Camera troubles Post by: wake.the.sun on May 25, 2008, 02:18:16 pm Alright, I go into cameraman mode, it works perfectly, then I hit tab again to get out of it and the camrea takes a bird's eye view and no matter what I do it won't go back to a normal level. I tried going back into cameraman mode again and it's the same thing, bird's eye view. It won't back to normal unless I restart the game. It's indcredibly frustrating, please someone help me out here.
PS - I also have GunMod's camera mod installed, fyi. Title: Camera troubles Post by: Dracoamie on May 25, 2008, 06:00:35 pm is this happening in buy or build mode or normal playing mode? Have you tried going into buy mode and hitting the birdseye veiw a couple of times to see if that fixes it?

Can anyone help me out here? :( Have you installed any custom cameras? Even if you haven't I've seen a couple of posts with the default sims cameras. Maybe you could use those and write over the cameras you have... Just a thought. Last night, before I put the defaults back in, when I would hit tab to get out of cameraman mode it wouldn't do anything, it just stayed in camera man mode. I thought maybe the defaults would fix it, but they haven't. I ended up having to shut down my game by using windows task manager. I'm still having trouble with the community lot camera too.
Please, please, please someone help me out here! Someone's gotta know something! lol. Title: Camera troubles Post by: wake.the.sun on May 27, 2008, 09:00:54 pm OKAY, I know I'm probably getting annoying but I somehow fixed the free mode camera problem I was having, BUT I'm still having the community lot camera problem. So if anyone has ANY idea as to why it takes an ariel view please, I'd love to know what you think it is.
Title: Camera troubles Post by: hardwaretoad on May 27, 2008, 09:05:09 pm Sometimes it'll default to that view, I've no idea why. Try holding down your Ctrl key while at the same time holding down your right mouse button. You'll see a little 4-way directional arrow thingy show up on the screen. Move your mouse forward/back & side-to-side to reposition your camera. Hope this solves your problem.

Title: Camera troubles Post by: Theraven on May 30, 2008, 04:30:46 am my game does that all the time. remember to save the original camera setting. for saving them, use ctrl + 4 to 9. you can save camera settings in Freecam mode, too.
