Title: Do-It-Yourself Channel Post by: _monique_ on December 15, 2006, 03:43:05 am This is a global hack for television that will replace "The Yummy Channel" to "Do-It-Yourself Channel". This hack allows you to learn all skills at the same time, the rate of skilling is the same as in cooking of The Yummy Channel. The video is the same as in The Yummy Channel, if you want to change the video there is a tutorial at MTS2 that would allow you to do this. You can follow and get an idea from this tutorial by Eric:

My Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2\Movies\Broadcast\TvFood If you want to replace The Yummy Channel video: Program Files\EA GAMES\The Sims 2\TSData\Res\Movies\Broadcast\TvFood I think the video should be in 128x128, 15fps and avi format. Only problem is when the Simmies decide they're not going to watch it, because they're bored; hard to make them do something when they're not "motivated" to do it.

One of my most favorite!! (along with some NO Autonomous...whichever..) Squinge made a "no auto. channel change" (when I directed the Sim to switch to your DIY channel, turn off TV,turn back on, it would automatically be on DIY, and no auto. change of channels) but since he is no longer updating let alone creating , could you possibly make a simmilar hack , it would be much appreciated!!
