Title: nothing's happening when I start the Sims 2 Post by: LeBronK23 on July 21, 2008, 08:53:53 pm A friend of mine loaned me his copy of Sims 2(base game, no ep) for a month while she's away, and it's been working for 3 weeks, and suddenly I want to play this morning and nothing shows up when I start the program; no error message or that white splash screen with the Sims 2 logo. I looked in task manager and the Sims2.exe process never shows up whenever i try to start the game. The DVD drive seems to be working but stops after a few seconds, and running the program as an administrator doesn't do anything to help as well. I've uninstalled and reinstalled it twice, but nothing's working.

(Just in case you don't know, they're in your C:\My Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2 directory, same as where your Downloads folder is located.) |
