:blob6: YES! After reading days & weeks worth of "Blue screen" posts, as stated on the wiki, the "boolProp useShaders false" cheat worked for me! I haven't been able to play since BV (until now) because of that stupid blue screen!! All the info on all the boards, ranging from drivers, to buying new hardware, to reformatting the hard drive --just gave me the TOTAL CREEPS!! I was ready to totally give up Sims once & for all & dedicate all of my time to my WOW Feral Druid full time!! (no problems with WOW cause their patches add cool features to the game and ahem...really work!) Well, I've been Simming since Sims1/day1 so I tried the cheat & now I am playing Sims again no prob!!!!!

I have all the EXPs but just now got UNI.

This thread is so very long & so very confusing... after all this reading, so far, I only got one thing straight "it's updated for Seasons".

I want my "self" sims daughter to be able to attend college from the regular hood, do assignments, term papers, & take finals. Going to college should NOT mean my daughter is like totally "dettached" from my family household & then also become an adult immediately after graduating --WHAT WAS MAXIS and/orEA THINKING??? Although I do have a few groups on campus, thank you so much Squinge for working on this for us and giving us the option to choose. It's much more realistic too.

I just need to know, which file do I need to have her go thru college from our normal hood without aging? I know there's an answer in here somewhere --it took 1/2 hour going through this thread but I still don't get it. And now there's this ACR mentioned --what is ACR?? :smt120

I posted this somewhere else. Before Seasons, I had the sinking pets issue & they wouldn't move, were starving to death. So I researched & found it could be "OFB Sleep on Community Lots" hack. Took it out, & could play Pets like crazy! Then I got Seasons & OH NO! Sinking Pets again! Researched again and found out some trees were giving problems. So by intuition, I took out ALL the recolored snowy trees that I had: snowy trees at the NEIGHBORHOOD screen & also every snow recolored tree, bush, & flowerbeds on the lot. IT WORKED! Actually, when I got on the lot & deleted them, my pets popped right out of the ground!  Hope this helps someone else as a shortcut to narrow it down!  I have almost 3 gigs of CC and cringe at the mere thought of weeding out!!
