I only have two questions, I was just wondering if their would be anyway to take custom sims I have made and saved, and put them into a neighborhood without having to put them into a house. (hope you understand what I mean)
And also, Whenever my pet gets a promotion and comes home it freezes my game for about 3 minutes before it brings up the pop-up saying my dog got a promotion. Could this be fixed?

I'm revamping the European Townhouse and I deleted the stairs that you can see on the first floor. The stairs only seem to be 3 squares long, and now when i try to change the stairs it says cant reserve space above stairs since it requires 4 open spots. When I look at the connecting stairs pop up it says click and drag for finer control but it doesn't work; possibly these stairs are only meant for outside? But if they were then how did they put them in the house in the first place, tricky tricky people they are. Does anyone have any idea on how to make a three square long staircase using the normal connecting stairs? [ sorry for the long description]

I recently just finished up a Sims 2 movie that I so badly wanted to put on youtube; but, sadly it wont save. Windows Movie Maker brings up a warning saying to check and see if all the clips are still there, if you have enough room on your computer, and if the location i am saving it to is still there. I have all those things, and I know that my videos folder is still there. Before I finished the movie I saved it perfectly to see if scenes lined up right, so there wasnt a problem before hand.

 Has this happened to anyone else...?

Im making a movie, and I had Moveobjects on cheat enabled, I ended up deleting the a raging bonfire so I could quickly make a new set. Low and behold even though the crates and teddy bears that made up the bonfire where gone the fire still could be seen burning.
Now it wont go away and it can't be deleted. Any suggestions?

I didnt really know what forum to put this under since im not sure if its an expansion pack issue.
-----My boyfriend was playing his Sims game when all of a sudden his saw the bathroom toilet explode on its own. Is this normal??? He said he saw it bubble a bit but usually you see water speck out of it now and then if you pay close attention, Which to me means the toilet wil clog soon. But this toilet just plain exploded...He bought a new one and put it in the same spot; but im just wondering if this has hapenned to anyone else before???

I just installed the newest patch for BV because I saw that if I installed it it may help my game load a resort that kept freezing on me. But now my game has a tendency to terminate or if I go into the neighborhoods the houses will be flashing red and will be getting dragged around the neighborhood by cars.
-Is there any way I can uninstall just the patch?
