61  Sims 2 Community Downloads / Residential / City Lot with Alley 2 on: May 26, 2007, 05:28:45 am
Another of my downtown lots with alley parking.  I really loved how this one turned out. Sort of a modern look.  I finally made a modern home. Yay!

Built on a 2X2 lot, 3beds, 2.5 baths, kitchen, livingroom, diningroom, alley parking. Fully furnished, and landscaped. Cost about 83,400 simoleons.
I ran out of ideas for the basement, so it is unfurnished.

Custom Content Included.

Wooden Stairs Recolorable- Numenor
Wire fence and gate- Supatramp
White Stucco Wall- Patul
Mortar Stone Wall- McTrick
Brown Slate floor- VJ Development

Thanks very much to all the creators for your content.  I just always need to put something custom in my lots.  I appreciate all the hard work put into it. Thank to INSIMenator for this forum and allowing me in it to share.  Thanks to EA for this, well flawed, but enjoyable game.

I use all EP's and the clean installer to package the lot. No hacks included.
62  Sims 2 Community Downloads / Residential / City Lot with Alley 1 on: May 26, 2007, 05:06:44 am
I just fell in love with mstybl95 city living lots, especially the alley parking.  So I asked her if I could upload some lots I made with alley parking, because she showed hers first.  She agreed, was so nice about it, that it was not an ideal she owned. Don't you just love her?
I built this lot to compliment her lots I have in the neighborhood.  It came out good and tested well. Thought I would share it. Also, I have more to come, thus the number one in the title.

Built on a 2X2 lot, with 3 possible beds, 3 baths, enclosed porches, alley parking and basement. Livingroom and eat in kitchen. Cost about 81,200 simoleons.
I used the greenhouse walls and doors for the enclosed porch.  Using the greenhouse door, the visitors will walk right into the porch and ring the regular doorbell.  So it doesn't stop any sims from going on the porch.
I like that feature, but if you don't want sims to just walk on the porch, change the door on the enclosure.
Change the woodburning stove to a chimneyless one.  It goes through the dresser above it.  I didn't have one that I could share.

Custom Content Included:

Giant Garden Music Oleander- Aussietopenders
Decorative Fflanzen- Olemantiker
Laurana Interior Fence- 11dots
4esf bedroom 8 window- 4eversimsfantasy
Ladderstairs- Targa

I forgot to package the white recolor for the ofb windows and doors, so here is a link: http://www.modthesims2.com/showthread.php?t=164282

Thanks to the creators for their content I used. They are the items that makes my lots the way they are.  Thanks INSIMenator for letting me share in and for providing this forum.

I used all EPs, and the clean installer, so no hacks.  Enjoy and keep on simming.  See ya!:-P
63  Sims 2 Community Downloads / Residential / City Colonial on: May 26, 2007, 04:16:16 am
I posted this lot in the sims2pictures thread: post the pictures of sim houses in your game.  Comical asked me to upload it and since I had a little time, here it is.

Colonial styled home with attached garage and driveway. 3 beds and 2 baths, entryway, livingroom and dining room combo, kitchen, landscaped and furnished.  On a 2X3 lot, cost about 106,700 simoleons.  I didn't  make a basement, but when I tested the lot, I made one there. So it can make a great basement in it.

Custom Content Included:

Decorative Plants, latavera,Nasturtium, Garden Irises, Foxgloves- Macarossi
Garden Plants 1 & 2, Flowering Vines 1 & 2, Flowerboxes, Rauputz White Wall- Nengi65
Giant Music Olenander- Aussietopenders
Flatshrub, Ray Living Wall- Pimpmysims
Natural Wood Floors- Jonesi
Wooden Recolorable Deck Stairs- Numenor
Dark Brown Fabric wall- VJ Development

For the invisiable driveway, go to this link: http://www.modthesims2.com/showthread.php?t=90875
I can't get it in the files, hard to find.

I use all EPs and there might be something from the holiday and glamorlife stuff packs, I am not sure.  I used the clean installer to package this lot, so no hacks.  I hope I covered everything.

Here you go girlie!:happy8:  :lurk:

Since I am reinstalling my game, not only I have to build housing, but also refurbish some of my community lots.  This is the clothing store on Main Street.  I thought I would add an ice skating rink and a restaurant to go along with the shopping.  Downtown Pleasantview is getting a change, LOL.

3X5 lot
amenities: Shopping clothes, electronics, magazines. Fancy restaurant with small area for coffee, and drinks. Outside area for dining, or drinking coffee with friends. 67  Sims 2 Community Downloads / Residential / Small Family Home on: April 03, 2007, 12:50:19 am
This is a small home on a small lot, I thought it was cute and gave it to the Oldies.  The upstairs bedroom was created, because I like to have Coral make friends with Lilith and have her to move in with them.  I then get Lilith to make friends with Angela and move them both to University.  I hate playing the Pleasant house with the both of them on bad terms. Can't stop the fighting. Plus every time I start the Pleasant household, Lilith runs away, that gets on my nerves.  Plus it makes the Oldies house more interesting. Well let's get to the stats:

Features: 2X2 lot, 2 beds, 3baths (accommodates elder sims Tongue), dining area, livingroom, kitchen, basement, 1 car driveway, roomy yard, fully furnished and decorated, cost about 59,500 simoleons.

Custom Content Included:

68  Sims 2 Community Downloads / Residential / My Childhood Home on: April 03, 2007, 12:24:41 am
I have been having a bad time with my game, so I reinstalled it.  I couldn't find the problem, but I did save my lot files and did reinstalled my packaged lots.  Now I stopped being hardheaded and put all my hacks in one folder, for easy removal from the game when new ep's are released.  I don't mind starting over, but it's a hassle to find the hacks and objects that you can't live without.  One thing for sure, no more huge amount of skins and clothes, and no downloading of whole files either. Whew, learned my lesson.
Let's get to the lot. This is a replica of my home I grew up in Gary, Indiana. I lived with my aunt and 2 other cousins, who are like my brothers.  The house has 3 beds, 3 baths (the ensuite bath was just a sink and toliet in real life, but to accommodate my sims...) fully decorated basement, just like my aunt's home, only thing missing is a decorative fireplace. (lost mine when I started the game over) The Tv area was in the basement in our home and livingroom was never used, just cleaned monthly for dust. We had a small kitchen, so that' why we have the eat-in kitchen.  The boy's bedroom is in blue, (dud!) and my bedroom was in white.  The garage was turned sideways for access to the alley, (which was tricky, earned my skills in parking from there) but since I wanted to use as much of the lot, I didn't create an alley.
The side yard was for serious playing and fenced in for safety. (Ha!, we were not allowed company, but when auntie went to work...)  Maybe you will want to add a pool for later in that area.  Pet's ready, that is where our dumb great dane was located and he would sit on top of the doghouse if it rained. Boy, I loved that doofus.  *Tears up at in memories*
Note: I did change the tv in to the living room and the basement has the stereo, for better sims play.

Well that's about it, now for the stats:

Features: 2X3 lot, 3beds, 3baths, 1 car garage, basement rec area, fully furnished and decorated, cost about 88,124 simoleons.

Custom Content Included:
Australian Federation Double Hung Windows- Darkmarkloc @ ModtheSims2

Fench and gate- Supatramp @ MTS2
White recolor of OFB door- Ailias @ MTS2

69  Sims 2 Community Downloads / Residential / Saltbox Contemporary, Suburbia on: March 24, 2007, 05:13:16 am
A small, contemporary, saltbox style architecture, that screams suburbs. Enclosed entrance and back porch, makes winters a little bearable during the winter months.  Small yard in back to add a small garden and fruit trees, maybe a wishing well. Built on a 2X2 lot for slower pc's and can accommodate 3 to 5 sims, 3 baths for easy access to the facilities, livingroom, dining, and study on a open plan, kitchen, masterbedroom with bath ensuite. Fully furnished and landscaped, with parking for one car.

72  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / I don't have the play catch interaction... on: March 09, 2007, 04:26:45 am
I think something has left my brain mashed, because I thought I got out all interaction modes out my game and I still don't have the play catch queue. Do anyone have any problems with their game and that queue?  If so, could you tell me how to resolve it, if you were able to correct it in your game.  I would appreciate it.  If not, I was thinking of starting my game over again. I hate when I am missing some of my interactions. :study: :smt120

EDIT:  I was wondering if anyone is playing a lot with floor tiles used for roofing, ie: the transparent ones to make glass roofs?  I wondered if the snow or rain was coming into the house with that kind of roofing? That's all.
73  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / Help with the juicer... on: March 06, 2007, 08:05:45 pm
:sad4: I need help.  I don't have the prima guide and don't understand why my sims can't use the juicer.  I have stocked the juicer with strawberries but do I need to stock the juicer with only the fruit trees or anything out the garden? I really want to test out the cinamun theory of twins with the juicer... LOL! Thanks everyone!

Lot: 2X2
Cost: 59,537 simoleons
Features: 3 beds, 2 baths, open living and dining areas, kitchen, basement garage for one car, basement recreational area, double deck in back. Fully furnished with Maxis, and landscaped.

75  Sims 2 Community Downloads / Residential / Small, But Comfortable on: February 24, 2007, 08:21:23 pm
Hello, fellow simmers.  I thought I would share a lot I built some time ago and love playing for the non-family sim. Roomy enough for up to 5 sims and a pet. (At least that is all the sims in my household)  I have an older computer and large lots just lags too much, also the car leaving the normal driveway piece stops my play a bit, so I use the short piece.  This lot is dedicated to the simmers who are in the same predicament as I am.

Lot: 2X2
Cost: 69,097 simoleons
Features: 3beds, 2 baths, basement, open plan livingroom, kitchen, eat in kitchen, fully furnished (in my haste to package, forgot the alarms, and phones, sorry), landscaped, with driveway.
Left the basement bedroom to be furnished to your liking.

Custom Content Included:

Much love and respect to INSIMenator for this forum to share our creations and love to the creators above for they are the BOMB!
I love this game! Thanks Maxis! The Sim Community are much appreciated!
