Barbie was too perfect that is why Matel changed her.She was a great role model in the sense that she held down like 30 careers and still had time to cook for her husband Ken,but her pinched waist was a self esteem nightmare.I love Barbie I loved her as a girl and now my three daughters lover her as well.I bought my 18 month old her first Barbie last month and it was love at first sight. Barbie will always have a place in our hearts,but your version is a lot more realistic.Which is why I liked and downloaded it.:cheers:
Title: Barbie Loves MAC Post by: gina942 on June 02, 2008, 07:28:47 am omg that is so sweet lol thanks, & yeah I guess the tiny waist/perfect face thing would probably be bad for kids self esteem but im 13 & i remember playing with barbies (the older versions i think new barbies are ugly XP) but it never lowered my selfesteem I always said oh i wish i had her makeup or i wish i had her outfits bt i never said i wish I had her body XP
