I didn't mean you personally, I meant whoever is getting TS3.
2  The Sims 3 / Sims 3 Buzz / Re: Am I really the only one who is looking forward to this? on: May 19, 2009, 01:24:51 pm
Now, I'm looking forward to this, but I'm still going to play TS2. I might not play it as often when I go to college because my brother plays it as well and I don't want to buy another copy of our current expansion pack. But I'm still going to play TS2.

You don't have to give TS2 up when you get TS3. They're separate games.
3  The Sims 3 / Sims 3 Buzz / Re: The Sims 3 DRM! on: May 19, 2009, 10:20:43 am
Like SimGirl20, I respect anyone's reasons to not buy the game, but this just had to be said.

There is no DRM so we should all just stop saying "F--- EAxis" and just move on

Even during the press release about the leak they said that all it had was a security key.

There will be no SecuROM in TS3. 100% Definite

And personally, I'll believe many, many press releases instead of a few modders.

(Okay, I'm going to probably get hung for this but it needs to be said)

Technically, we don't really need custom clothing (we can just re-colour them to our own individual tastes). Technically, we don't really need custom clothing or hair (again, we can just re-colour them. We probably need new hairstyles, but not hair-colours). All I can see that we really need are mods, and even then we probably won't be able to get them.

I for one don't mind playing a "vanilla" game, because unlike TS2, TS3 lets you be an individual with all of the stuff you can re-colour. (hell, even the f--king mailbox! Now it can be something besides plain white! YES~)
5  The Sims 3 / Sims 3 Buzz / Re: How do you feel about seeing the same objects in TS2 in TS3? on: May 18, 2009, 11:14:37 am
I personally don't mind it, because like you said, it will be recoloured enough times to where they'll still be unique.

Oh definitely. I mean, TS2 was great for having the cooking channel but a lot of sims will only watch it for, like, 30 sim-seconds and turn it off, not causing the bar to go up. >< So I'm definitely looking to see if we can redesign the classrooms or not. (Probably not, but that will be okay. Classrooms are supposed to be boring YAY)

From SnootySims: "Sims can take classes to learn skills much faster than reading or doing."

I'm pretty sure that they're including evening classes into the game, Engram.

Okay, I have games on both the site and facebook, do anyone know how to raise cleanliness because they both keep getting sick. Is it only baths?
9  The Sims 3 / Sims 3 Buzz / Re: Star Trek parody on: May 17, 2009, 06:25:51 am
I've seen this on youtube so many times and it keeps making me giggle every time I watch it.

I love it that one: it's in simlish and two: Spock's ears are HUGE instead of pointy. XD

Ah. Right-o. I misunderstand easily. ^^,,

Yeah, I wonder on that as well.

Well, Grant specifically said that it was single-player in the second part and he's an associate producer.

Who's twisting words?

I'm not sure if this will fit here, but I found a two-part video that is (in my opinion) pretty crucial and will answer a lot of our questions.

The Sims 3 Demo With Grant Rodiek Part 1 The Sims 3 Demo With Grant Rodiek Part 2

(Mods, if this needs its own thread, then go ahead and move it)

Thank you so much for this link. I'm already having fun just putting together my sim! (Especially since it'll be an almost-self-sim of me)
15  The Sims 3 / Sims 3 Buzz / Re: Fat, plastic looking sims 3...? Missing something? on: May 14, 2009, 08:13:32 am
Ah, gotcha. Now with Pescado I could see him having that title. I'm unable to use the EAxis patches because I'm on a mac (a reason why I intend on getting TS3 on the PC).

But what exactly have they said about the future TS3 that magazines might have said wrong? All I've heard (mostly from SnootySims and GameInformer) was good.
