I don't think Gunmods camera works for apartment life.
What you need to do is to learn to use the in game camera.
1. Set your in-game Camera settings (for those of you who don't use Print Screen or any of the other programs like that) Once you get into your game, you will see a little camera icon. There is where you adjudst your image settings. Set everything to the best sounding choices! We want high quality, large pictures. Pick those settings.
2. Free Camera AKA Camera Man mode Now, PLEASE make sure you never take pictures in "buy mode" always just pause your game. We'll get into a few tricks soon. To activate Free Camera press TAB. Then the controls are: Q down, W forward, E up, A left, S backup, D right, Z zoom, X unzoom. To leave camera mode simply press TAB again. You may have to readjust your game cam, but it's worth it. I promise.
3. There are three cheats every person who wishes to show pics should know. boolProp snapobjectstogrid false - this allows you to scoot stuff off the grid lines! Be sure to make this "true" when you are building and done playing. moveobjects on - This allows you to move objects (like sims) that you couldn't generally move before. Very useful. Please make sure to turn it off when you are building or done playing. slowmotion 5 (or any value between 0 - Regular speed is 0, so pretty darn slow is 5. This will help you to capture the perfect moment. Please make sure to set back to 0 when you get sick of seeing your sims moving at snail's pace!

Simmers' Paradise / Sims Stories / The Avalon Legacy - Updated 11/01/08 - Chapter 22

Yes I do agree with Sadie on the encouraging. One of my characters, Max was quite mean after returning from the dead but much encouraging from his partners did help a bit. He's still a lovely brat though.
Anyway, yay for the update! Drake is fun, I'm glad you make him take responsibility for his actions!
Sorry about the cats fighting, I know it's a small point but I really hate the coding that animals were given to fight over food bowls and pet beds. For heaven sakes, can't we have peaceful pets?
Though sometimes they do manage to get along quite well, which is nice. I had 6 dogs living in my house at one point and never there was a fight. Now I have two that fight all the time. Personalities I suppose.

Great update as usual! I love stopping by this section and seeing updates. Completely random but I must say that is one hot maid. Congratulations on the twins! That reminds me, I probably should update my legacy one of these days, now that you are Astro have updated yours. Hmm, that didn't give anything away did it?

Right, here. She's spooky but has muffins. http://www.insimenator.org/showthread.php?t=90989Yeah Max is a bit of a guilty pleasure for me. He was always mean, from childhood with only a few nice personalty points. Lucky for Max, Stephen is a Libra with Full nice points! I've never seen that on a born-in-game sim. Still he carries his heart on his sleeve. He has so many friends but only a few are romantically interested in him. His new girlfriend Christina is nice enough and he likes her but still carries a flame for his exes despite the fact that they both cheated on him. He is always waiting to call them and have them come over. Bless him. See I start talking about my sims and can't stop. *lol* I almost forget it's a game, more of a social experiment really.

Simmers' Paradise / Sims 2 Apartment Life Chat / Changing Avatar

Not a glitch, it's a new feature.
I actually really like it especially with the supernatural sims, it's fun to see a new portrait. I'm not sure why it would bother anyone but apparently I'm alone on that.

Yes that does work for flowers and newspapers. Unfortunately it does not work for bigger things, such as piano and in my case aquariums. I am so glad that the 'friend' who dropped off the aquarium did not leave it directly in front of the door or else I would be in trouble. That thing will not move no matter what I do. I even tried the apartmentBuildBuyRestrictions off cheat, but the game didn't even accept that as a valid code.

Resident Creators / Mod Requests / Casting Spells and Making Potions Fun!

Yay Squinge! :blob6: I would like a request a mod for witches. Currently doing witchy things such as working over the cauldron and casting spells are not fun and feature a huge drop in comfort. Really doesn't make sense to me because witches should enjoy being witches I would think. So nice to see your smiling Dexter face once again!

Simmers' Paradise / Apartment Life Help / Unofficial AL patch
|

Thanks Miss Doh. Nice to see you, how have you been? I hate to say it, but I recommend people stay away from the patch for the time being. I've had some problems with it and it messed up my game. I've asked Pescado about it at MTS2 and hopefully he will answer my question. The biggest issue is that is blacks out the neighbours, so when you visit them by knocking on their door, everything, the sims, the furnture, everything becomes solid black. The sims can still interact, but they are like shadows. That was the only mod in my folder so I am sure that is what caused this problem.
