Title: Please Help: Sims 2 Recognising default Maxis Furnish as Custom *RESOLVED!* Post by: Hammie on October 17, 2010, 01:20:12 pm I just installed my Sims 2 games.
It's recognises the middle-age furniture as CC at the start menu and the "Candy Coated" sofa. Is this something that happened in AL or MG? Please help! I have no mods and just three custom skins and hairstyles, and eyes. I checked all the Sims2packs and they are clean. (I only have three sims2packs.) My game is all fixed up. Thanks, everybody for your help! :) Title: Re: Please Help: Sims 2 Recognising default Maxis Furnish as Custom Post by: EKozski on October 17, 2010, 01:29:34 pm Did you install CEP?
Title: Re: Please Help: Sims 2 Recognising default Maxis Furnish as Custom Post by: Hammie on October 17, 2010, 03:42:11 pm Nope. It's just straight Maxis content in my game. I don't like mods much anymore, or CC for that matter. I just have three Sims 2 packs that are clean that I saved from an older game. I have: Double Deluxe, University, Open for Business, Pets, Bon Voyage, Ikea Home Stuff, Teen Style Stuff, Freetime, Apartment Life, and Mansion and Garden Stuff.

Title: Re: Please Help: Sims 2 Recognising default Maxis Furnish as Custom Post by: Hammie on October 17, 2010, 03:49:21 pm No. I did check, but I finally decided just to reinstall. House lots won't load either, and I have absolutely no mods or anything. I will let you know if it works...It was in the "Celebration! Stuff" folder of Double Deluxe.
EDIT: The EA games folder somehow copied itself twice, but I don't know if this will correct the issue. I'm going to run Double Deluxe and see if it fixes it. EDIT X2: That did the trick! Thanks, everyone! My game is now working beautifully. |
