Title: Some help for Vista users..if you crash Post by: Mask316 on September 20, 2007, 11:16:34 pm You may want to look at your power distribution if when shutting down the Sims 2 your system crashes. For vista 32 and 64 the default power is balanced and this has caused some issue.
To change your power settings Control Panel Power settings. Mine is on high performance and since the change I have had no issue with shutting the game down and OS crashes. But I have to say it looks like they tired with Vista. Brings back memories of 98SE. Hopefully you won't have an issue and if you do the power change will fix it. I can't figure out why because it's only happening on certain lots after about a good half hour into playing.
