My pc is like my car, I know where to start it and how to drive it,but when I receive error messages I am at a loss.So today I decided to check if I have any conflicting files using the HCDU and it stopped halfway displaying the following message:
Error 53 File not found:SWsupport.dll Module:modsimsPackage Procedure:gfstrDecompressFile Location:1000 Install Path: C:\DOCUME~1\Anita\LOCALS~1\Temp|_PA192 Data Path:C:\Documents and Settings\Anita\My Documents Sims Path:C:\Program Files\EAGames\TheSims2\ What does this mean and how do I fix it. The checking utility stopped at this and did not carry out the scan any further Help is much appreciated.:smt120 Title: Error messages Post by: Micco on April 01, 2007, 10:11:15 am It sounds like the utility didn't install properly. Uninstall it and then install it again. Make sure you turn off or disable your Anti-Virus while you are installing in case it is blocking something. If that doesn't work you will need to ask at Paladin's support forum.

Title: Error messages Post by: ancienthighway on April 01, 2007, 11:20:10 am HCDU can't be run from within WinZIP/WinRar. You must extract it, then run it. The dll will be found then.
