I would be great if barbie versions of the default skintones were available for Rio & RenGal. I've picked up the classic pinup and I'd like to convert many of my current sims without changing their currrent skintones. Although I've have picked up some on the adult site before getting kicked out, I prefer for my sims not to look so cold.  Jwilson5 has made a set of barbie skintones for RenGal, available here. I do not know of barbie Rio set. |

The patch won't install for me because "you have a more recent expansion pack installed". That would be Celebration! Stuff. I suppose they expect me to uninstalled Celebration!, apply the patch and then reinstall Celebration! Grrr!  Thank goodness! I did not have to remove my Celebration! installation, but merely restore the original version of the C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\The Sims 2 Seasons\TSData\Res\Config\Graphics Rules.sgr file that I had altered to force bump mapping. And at least the installer told me the name of the file it didn't like! Why it fussed about this file I have no idea, because it did not actually update it. But all's well that ends well! |

In both new and existing hoods, a teen moving to college will age to YA moving into a dorm, or remain a teen in public school if moving into a rental. My experience has been that a teen will always age to a young adult, no matter what university accomodation she or he is moving into - i.e. it doesn't matter whether its a dorm or a rental. The patch won't install for me because "you have a more recent expansion pack installed". That would be Celebration! Stuff. I suppose they expect me to uninstalled Celebration!, apply the patch and then reinstall Celebration! Grrr! |

Hmm, I wonder if it would work converted to Outerwear for Seasons? I don't have it yet, but it's a thought... Yes, of course, it is a quick and easy change in SIMPE. RenGal has a severe shortage of outerwear, but it was your comment that brought up this clothing when I did an "outerwear" search of InSIMenator - thanks for that!  |

The votes so far, which has one hip size leading with 66% of the votes, has made me wonder if the presence of the named special bodyshapes have affected the poll. So, as a followup question: Would you have voted differently if the warlokk named bodyshapes didn't exist, and if so on what? I also voted for the 36" hip because I see it as a realistic variation on the default 34". That preference would not have changed if the named Bodyshapes did not exist. |

The problem is, all the newer shapes from the Classic Pinup onward have modified waistlines... what this means is, any separate made for those shapes will not align with any other shape, either the original sizes or the other newer ones. This is why all the new shapes are full-body outfits only, since trying to keep the different sizes sorted from each other would be nearly impossible, and they simply won't work if they are not matched with the same size. This was the main limitation to the mix-and-match sizes in the Hi-Res series, I couldn't modify the waist size at all if they were going to work together. I can't speak for slickjack on this, but my intent with having top and bottom separates in the named Bodyshape series would be to mix and match within a particular Bodyshape - for example RenGal tops with RenGal bottoms - rather than to try to mingle the separates between Bodyshapes - such as a Classic Pinup top with RenGal bottom. |

Your work is very impressive, artistic and complete, Warlokk, and I regard it as the definitive expression of female Sims body type variations. It turns out I voted with the majority on the poll, looking for more expansion set clothing in the existing sizes - for example Outerwear for Seasons. I see this as more the responsibility of the larger community rather than Warlokk - whom I see as setting the standards. There tends be a flurry of interest from designers when new bodyshapes come out, but the older forms tend to coast along without full support. Themysticalone's work is an exception to this trend, working where there is less flash to fill in the gaps. |

Fashion Model links to the standard default Teen shape, since I thought it was the best fit for the transition... FM isn't so thin to use the Small hips, and her top is about a C which I generally link to the default B teen. Thank you Warlokk. I have updated my table in the Skintones and teens thread. |

Yeah, found that post a short while ago (but a while after I asked Warlokk about it), and it's nice that you posted on it as well concerning the recent additions to his works. Though you missed the fashion model, power girl, and booty gal.  Thank you Ritoru, I didn't realize there were links for BootyGal and PowerGal - somehow I missed them (I confess I'm not really interested in those meshes). I have updated the other thread. I cannot find a teen link for Fashion Model. |
