I had requested a very cool mesh a while back (Before pet's big downfall) and Our beautiful Marvine jumped at the idea. So she laboured over her PC and came up with this, exactly like the pic's I drew for my presentation!! She sent me a "Beta" version for testing, and (of course) it passed all tests with flying colours. I tested it for versitility, easiness for texturing, shading and shadowing. Here are the skins I made for my tests. There's the first one "Meshtest" A cool hip outfit that shows your athletic girls can be sexy, "Alphadottle" Black female tux (Casual). "Maxitest" is the second version of this same skin, only it's a formal version, a little darker and the jacket is a little less skimpy as the origional. "Passiveagressive" is another test in shadowing, "Hipstersister" is just what it says LOL, and then "Bikerbabies" is the jacket from my O.R.R. skin converted to this mesh. Its too bad that marvine is soo put down by pets's new feature. Well idk if he/she will end up comeing back, because i heard that adding the meshe to uploaded sims is NOT a bug. Mm I should explain things better; not only the meshes are included in the packed sims (and we found some uploaded on the exchange), but also there are other issues for which we didn't find a workaround yet, that simply make it unsafe to make new meshes with Pets installed (skeleton distorsions and such). :( Anyway it was stated on the BBS that the meshes included in the packed sims was a bug and that they were working to fix that; if they don't I'll have to live with it - like skintones, make-up and objects makers already do - but for now I'm just really pissed with the general amount of bugs. And I'm not talking about bugs in gameplay, just the things that show the total disregard for custom content makers and the whole "well get Pets if you want my stuff to work in your game" thing. As a rule I make my meshes from base game files so everybody can use them and until now it was enough to ensure compatibility...
