Can some one make a tutorial for wings 3d on importing into simpe

Wings 3D isn't exactly Sims friendly or more people would be using it, pretty much the entire community uses MilkShape -- a few rich or less scrupulous sorts use 3D Studio Max

well now i use milikshape but when i import the mesh back in and hit preview on simpe it will say cant't find cres or it just looks like before i imported the mesh but you should see a big difference

What kind of mesh are you importing and how are you importing to and from Milkshape/SimPE?

im import a female teen full body mesh and im going by what the thread for beginers at mod the sims 2 the one where you  use the mesh tool

Wow.  That tutorial is as old as time and written for a much much older version of SimPE - unless it has been updated recently (which I doubt).   You should not need a mesh tool at all...its all built into SimPE now.

All you do is open a mesh, extract the GMDC (.5GD)...import it into Milkshape 1.7.7a using the Sims 2 plug-in by WesH, make your changes, export back to disk.  Then go back to SimPE...select the GMDC record again, right click on it, choose Import... and point to the modified mesh you saved.
