1  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Discussion / Seasons: Toddlers chase butterflies on: December 25, 2007, 11:48:14 pm
Toddlers eat dog food? Makes me glad I have Seasons but not Pets!
2  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Discussion / One item/hack you can't play without? on: December 25, 2007, 06:33:47 pm
InSIMenator for sure! It does almost everything you could ever want. I wouldn't play the game nearly as much without it.

A close second would be Inteenimator.
3  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / Cameras? on: December 25, 2007, 04:44:24 pm
You do know that you can press the Tab key to activate the cameraman mode? Check your Sims 2 manual for instructions on using it. If you do but want something different then go to http://www.modthesims2.com/ and do a search for "camera" in the mods section, there's quite a few.
4  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Discussion / How many Downloads?? on: December 24, 2007, 03:06:46 pm
I have 10,472 downloads in a folder that badly needs sorting if I ever want to back it up on DVD again.

I played the first Sims for a while, loved it. Only bought this a few months ago and have went from being hooked to getting a bit bored of it. Still playing though :smile bi:

Favourite family is the Bloodrayne family.

Middle two are the parents (one being the "fake" Strangetown Bella Goth). Other two are their born in game kids. I was a bit worried as to what their children would look like, but they turned out fine.

I wouldn't want the sims world to be the real world, because it's so limiting. I find myself wanting to do things that simply aren't in the game.

I'd like to marry Alice Bloodrayne I think, and not just because she's a vampire! She's the one on the left of the picture. She's very sweet and caring to her wife Marianne, but deadly and fearsome to any sims that do even the slightest wrong to her, her wife, or her family. She's great fun to play :smile bi:
5  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / External questions/compatibility? on: December 24, 2007, 12:43:46 pm
There's a FAQ on MTS which deals with changing the location of your downloads folder. However it involves moving your whole My Documents folder onto the new drive. I'm guessing that's because you can't just move the downloads folder alone - although that's just a guess!

Oh and Merry Christmas to you too :reindeer:

I don't know if this will help but Pescado doesn't just have the mod to zap flirting wants, there's also a romance mod. Part of the rtfm reads;

"Sims can now exhibit loyalty to existing relationships and do not randomly fall in love with anyone who happens to flirt with them. Pleasure sims have resistance only when in a committed relationship, Romance sims have none. All other sims have resistance values if they already are in a relationship"

You can find it at;

Click on the link for your latest EP, then hacks and then download "romancemod.zip". As I said, there's an rtfm included in the zip.
7  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Discussion / Sims 2 Download Folder on: December 19, 2007, 03:13:28 pm
If you have Nightlife or later then you can subfolder everything, though apparently some hacks shouldn't be. There's also no limit to the amount of sub-subfolders you can have either. See the FAQ at MTS

8  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / Bodyshop won't load, I followed all the tutorials! on: December 11, 2007, 12:12:05 pm
Bodyshop stopped working for me too, however it would crash on loading and give me an error message. Turned out that if you export a sim with SimPE then it will kill Bodyshop. I removed all the N000whatever_User packages from My Documents/EA Games/The Sims 2/SavedSims folder and Bodyshop decided to stop having a strop.

I don't know if that's any help, but if you do have any sims exported using SimPE in that folder then move them somewhere else before loading it.
9  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Discussion / Why r Sims so stupid ? on: December 11, 2007, 11:49:56 am
I play with free will turned off, because I don't trust them one little bit. I did turn it on once though. I sent my Sim to a club downtown, and when she arrived I thought "Let's see what she wants to do, rather than me telling her all the time".

I thought she might have a drink, maybe dance to the DJ or talk to someone. No. She picked up the dirty dishes customers had left, took them into the kitchen of the club and started washing them. She only has about 3 bars on her neatness :?

I think I'll turn it on again having read this thread, just to see if anything truly stupid happens. :smile:
