Consuela,when you are in the neighbourhood you want to play,open the cheatbox and write"boolprop testingcheatsenabled true"and play the game with it.When you click on the family you want to play,you'll get the message about objects causing you problems and you can choose to reset,delete or ignore.sometimes it's inough to resete.But I had to delete many objects playing this game.You'll get messages even while playing the game.Even sims can cause problems.then you resete and - if it doesn't solve - delete.
And delete the object from the game. Hi Vanessa 135, I have done this and the only thing I got is the insimenator. Also I have only 70 downloads in my folder, so that is 7000 less than I had. |

I never had an message"your virtual memory is too low".
I get an error D3DERR_NOTAVAILABLE and my pc reboots after 30 minutes of playing the game.
I asked NVIDIA and EA and they say that my pc has all the requirements.
I looked in diag and I don't see 272 mb but:
Memory: 1022MB RAM
Page File: 333MB used, 2125MB available.
So can anyone tell me where do I search for the 272?

Hmm, that should work. Did you game post an error log? If so, maybe you can attach it to a post in this thread so we can take a look. There might be some clues there. Ok, this is the error I got: Thank you, you are the first person who's taken the time to look at my problem. |

For both of you having this problem, could you please tell us what video card you have? What I would do at this point is make sure it's supported. I have NVIDIA GeForce 7300 LE Update Version: 6.14.11.6921 (can play for an hour). All the other updates didn't work (could play for a half hour). |

After I install BV, my game is always crashing. I can only play 20 min  What can I do? I have the same problem, reinstalled the game and played without any downloads. But the problem is still here. Also I have the error D3DERR_NOTAVAILABLE. So I contacted NVidia and EA about the above problems. They keep pointing their fingers to each other. So sorry I can't help you, but maybe it's a comfort that there are more people like you |

This is most likely due to them changing to Secur rom as their protection now. Hate that they done this as Secur rom has caused issues for others even when they have totally legal games Not just with BV but other games as well for the computer.
Do you have any emulation software installed? Alcohol or Daemon tools etc?
If so possibly turning those off or if they are not used even uninstalling.
I know they had a topic in the EA tech help area on how to turn off emulation. I use Daemon tools(No not for my Sims games All my Ep's are bopugt and paid for as is the base game) and have it turned off so that it is red and not green in the tray. I also am sure to exit out of it when not using it. Which is usually most the time. I have not had any issues.
Good luck Hi Phoenix, I don't have any emulation software installed, so that can't be it. I only have my pc for my work and the sims 2. But thank you for trying to help me out. |

So you have installed the beta driver from Nvidia and still have issues with Bon Voyage ? Too bad. And I wonder why a directX error message would be relate too a pirate copy of EA software ! :sad3: Sorry Consuela. I can't tell you more on this problem. Try to wait maybe a future driver from Nvidia (it's a beta one for now) or a patch from EA.You can too be stubborn and try to explain to EA support that you haven't pirate their games.  I still have the receat of the game, so I can prove that i'ts not an pirate. But I want to thank you for you're affort (hope I spelled that right) to help me any way you can, Mihura.... |

I went to the sims2 homepage and search for the error.
They have an answer......
They say I have a Pirated copy of EA software.........
Sounds dumb, because I bought it in the same shop that I bought the rest of my sim games.
