In light of this... xxTheObsessyxx, if you're still reading this, I feel really bad for suggesting you needed University... and possibly making you pay for an EP that you may or may not really want. Fact is, right now I don't know what you might need anymore. I'm sorry.  The only thing I can recommend is installing him with the Sims2Pack Clean Installer and seeing if that works for you.

I'm at a loss... I have all the expansions up to Seasons, and I don't know what else to say...

Also, I'm waiting to get an answer from the mesh creator about posting the nurse outfit here... otherwise I may have to post the nurse outfit separately on ModTheSims2, which I rather not do. We'll see...

If you take a close look at the pictures, there are wrinkles... but I admit, they're faint. It was difficult to find a good quality fully face-forward picture of him to use for the mask... in fact I used at least two different photos and combined them to make it. Some of the wrinkles likely got washed out due to my trying to make the different pictures smooth out into one coherent mask. :/

Honestly, I doubt I'll go back and edit anything... if I would, more than anything I'd probably edit the pants on his outfit. They still bug me. But thank you for the tip, I appreciate it.

On another note... I've been working on Nurse Joker. Anyone interested?

Thanks for letting me know. I guess University is indeed required for him then... I'm pretty certain that the hair mesh is the only thing about him that needs an expansion pack to install properly. Everything else about him should install with the base game.

I wanted to say too - I'm flattered that you'd buy the University expansion just to get my sim in your game. I hope you find it worthwhile!

Do you only have the base game? I'd be interested to find out if the hair mesh installs properly for someone who doesn't have University. Could you tell me if it does?

Like EKozski said, try redownloading first. If that doesn't work... can you tell me exactly what the trouble is that you're having? What EPs you have?

Under the photos there is a section that says "attached files" - underneath that will be a zip for Sweeney and a zip for Lovett. Download those, unzip them, and install the sims2pack files into the Downloads folder of your game.

To clarify, since a few ppl remarked about this... this is not my first sim (I've made many more than I've released), but it was the first time I tackled custom clothes / make up. I was shocked it even turned out decent enough. My photoshop skills really aren't that great!

Alright peeps... I requested a Sim version of the Joker from The Dark Knight but had no luck with responses, so finally I thought 'what the heck?', I'll just give it a shot myself. I was kind of reluctant at first, because I've never really made clothing or make up before, and wasn't sure I could even pull it off... well, I ended up being happy enough with the results to share, so here he is.

The clothing is -not- perfect (the left pant leg is funky - if anyone wants to fix that, be my guest), but for my first time making clothing, I thought it turned out ok. There were a couple of clothes meshes from other creators that I was looking at, but none had the coat long enough, so I just went with the Maxis mesh. But it was making the mask that was the real tricky part.  I used the Maxis mime mask as a base and kind of did a cut and paste job with whatever full face pictures of the Joker I could find, and then smoothed everything out. It's not perfect either, but it's the best I could do... The mask is removable make-up, of course.

Which leads me to the Joker's skintone, which I thought would be neat to modify... When you remove the mask, he looks like this:





I used the Pale Louis skintone and simply added the scars to both cheeks, made the teeth more yellow, and gave him dark circles under his eyes, using that one photo of the Joker sans makeup from the film as a guide. I did attempt to make him look like Heath as best I could.
