every time I try to load the Sims 2 it keeps minimizing to the desktop and it won't stay up. Now I can't play the sims 2!It gos right back down to the desktop. I tried going to properties and press -w I press - up pops ctrl+alt+- even though I did not press ctrl+alt+- that appears no matter what I pressed as if I typed in myself. I think the ctrl and alt keys are stuck on my laptop. I would not know how to fix it or why it would stuck. I'm at the end of my rope please help!
It's rare to see Sims protesting at city hall and I was wondering if there was a way to get Sims to protest whenever you wanted them to. I'd think it be a great hack for storytelling. If someone can make a hack that allows you to just click on city hall and protest for or against whatever, please make it if possible. Orif anyone knows how to make sims protest via cheats let me know, k thanks
Yes I have The Sims 3, and an update. I deleted some CC it turns out it was a hack I had overlooked. It installed just fine, my self sim is in Egypt now. Thanks for the help.
I go to install it and it tells me I must have the sims 3 installed. I went to do the update and it won't saying something about incorrect region! HELP!!! I don't know what to do!!!
I had a single mom Erica Gribbs with a toddler Jenna, and the mom got electrocuted trying to repair the t.v herself. I saved and went to the dad's Burke Gribbs house and tried to get him to adopt her only to get a random toddler, and not his. I tried another family but still got a random girl and not the one who was taken away! Apparently you can't adopt kids recently taken away! How can I get Jenna back to her dad?? I'm not happy with the idea that she can't even be adopted by another family I had plans for her! Is there a cheat or hack to get her back to her dad?
you must hit edit town and save, when it gos to the neighborhood screen you'll see a small button with two houses hit that and it will allow you to change the active sim. The game will erase any items your sims have in their inventory though and all plants will have disappeared.

My game has been acting weird ever since I bought stuff the sims 2 store. I broke down and bought a card and got the baby stuff and some hairs I liked. The game worked fine until today. First my sims just sat there. Sim time passed but they just stood there like statues. They would not move for nothing no matter what I commanded them to do. They just stand there as time gos by. The game crashed and I took out a whole bunch of hacks that I figured would be causing the problems, yet still they just stand there. I leave to go to the neighborhood and load another house, and the game is in infante loading time and won't even load the house! I have to close the game using the task manager and try again! I've tried two different households and still my sims just stand there! What do I do?
I did the test and didn't pass! Something about having only 2.0 GHz which is not enough! Is there any way to get more GHz? I don't want to have too replace my laptop it's brand new only 4 months old and it runs the sims 2 and all its exspansions and stuff packs with no problem!
Tanks for your help,the problem was Nortan 360's firewall I fixed the settings and now it dosen't cuase my game to minamize. I should have knon it was Nortan, in the past it has tried to block the sims 2 when I tried to run it!
on my laptop my game has a nasty habbit of minamizing to the desktop without me touching a button. It eill do this alot and I don't know why my laptop can handle the sims 2 ram wise, and I'm not sure what is causing it to minamize to the desktop. how do I stop it from doing that?
